Today is this year’s final episode of the Shooting Range.
Make yourselves comfortable, it’s time to review the whole year for our game. We’ll remember the new maps, that enlarged the world of War Thunder these last twelve months. Speak once again about the ingame mechanics, new gameplay features and technologies that appeared in the game during this time. And of course, we’ll talk about the most influential tech of the year, the pioneers of their own different fields. Here we go!

Back when they had the tournament this summer, he was going over some of his background. I seem to recall him mentioning that he used to be the driver for the Shah of Iran 0_0. Bruce has a very intriguing past and a perfect personality for his position in War Thunder.

@Potatochips9999 barrels wont break lol, almost all ww2 turret traverse is pretty slow, it might just damage the traverse system if u keep trying to turn it in a fixed position.

Don't know if you mean Tanks or Air but getting out of arcade tanks and into RB transformed this game for me. Its a whole new level of awesome. I. Just.Cant .Stop. Playing.

Stay in air AB. RB is lots of flying to be killed immediately. Not really worth it. Arcade is more rewarding. Go to tank RB though. It's a lot more fun and gives you much more money. This is my experience, I hope it helps.

Ahhhhh, it's time to relax, and you know what that means, a glass of wine, your favourite easy chair, and of course this compact disc playing and your home stereo. "ping that's low" playing with fluctuations of 180-999 all the time plus several PL spikes of 0-50%.... No to say ghost shells, BS vehicles with WEIRD hitboxes (IS4M, shot a 165mm HESH on the ROOF MG, the shell went through as if that MG didn't exist).... WT is early access BS with F2P worst methods of milking money

Because there are thousands of players who have tolerated this for a while but not the game is borderline unplayable and I have played this game for 5 years, I love this game but my entire squadron has gone to other games that work and better yet are enjoyable to play. We used to have so much fun playing wt even if we where loosing

And the player base shows, they have players across Xbox,PS4,PC, steam and multiple different gamemodes to play and you hardly see more than 1500+ active battles even after patches with OVER 50k people online

I can imagine working skiplanes on the heavy cruisers, M1 famaily's armour gets historically accurate, battleships in naval battles and TUSK II urban survival kit for M1A2 in 2020. I wish that all of you have a super great X-mas and Hollidays. See you next year.

Things to fix (concerning the game's look) : -How tanks look after being knocked out, more visible modular damage showing how it was destroyed wouldn't be bad. -clouds that look like realistic clouds -ships should not just burn every single time they are sunk -the water should look more realistic (the waves should not fade away with distance and splashes should look more consistent) -we need better sound effects for ship's guns, they don't sound powerful and deep enough -tanks should be more affected by dirt, sand and snow (as long as visuals are concerned) -craters caused by bombs and artillery should look more realistic -the way smoke and fire look must be changed: they are too inconsistent -most tank and ship models should see all their features animated for the sole enjoyment of seeing such animations in game -some game modes designed for bombers should be added -models for tank interiors should be added These are some suggestions to make the game more enjoyable to both the average and the more "simulator focused" gamer: hope they help! Keep up the good work! (only the good one tho)

*What I hope gaijin does for 2020* : A huge rework of the in-game economy and a bigger focus on player retention rather than thinking in the short term.
