This plane is a typical Italy cycle example - OP and undertiered at introduction, with normal repair cost. Let me present you, with a typical, basic, italy cycle steps: - After the introduction, people complain, so gaijin slaps a fat repair price on it. - Players still complain, since just adding repair cost to a plane doesnt make it perform worse (Holy moly, who would have guessed that, right??? ). - Vehicle gets abused by higher skilled players who can play the vehicle well and wont get bankrupt by paying for dying. Less skilled players avoid it because of massive repair costs. - Gaijin is shocked by vehicles "effectiveness" caused by an influx of skilled players playing it, and uptiers it. Sometimes jumping entire brackets up in BR. - Vehicle gets nerfed at around the same time - Repair cost stays the same and anyone rarely bothers playing it, because of massive repair costs. - Takes years to fix it, or it stays doomed for most of the players

@@Warump It’s repair cost has gone down quite considerably now, but other aircraft at the br had theirs go up lol.

@@Warump Repair cost is nothing to do with Gaijin trying (and failing) to balance the PERFORMANCE of a plane. It's about balancing the average earnings players get while using it, so that one plane doesn't become more lucrative than the rest, and hence get spammed in the matchmaker as an "SL farmer"... Still a very flawed system though, especially for minor nations, so hopefully the new position-based repair costs will prove to help out much more in time

@@lafosh7234 If you’re talking about the Python 3s and Magic 2s, then those are too strong for the current game to handle. They will likely come to live when more 4th-gen aircraft start getting added, and will probably be the best IR missiles you can get even when those 4th-gens come.

@@kommandantkillcode gajin has apparently already figured out a way to balance them…they have stated the reason the new jets like J8B won’t have them on launch is because they believe the jets are capable as they are now..not that they will break the game…they said it depends on how bad the jets fit in the current meta will determine if they get the missiles any time soon for balancing reasons…not that the THERE VERSIONS (nerfed from its real life capabilities) can’t come in the game

@@Toctor Every nation gets their period as the best at a tier for a week-a new major update until Gaijin nerfs them or adds more vehicles that can counter them. This happens all the time, and it’s just a ploy for Gaijin to get more money from players trying to grind the “Flavor of The Month” vehicle. This time the vehicle is the A-10, but it may not end up being overpowered, and it’s just a very well known aircraft that many people have wanted in the game.

We should all know by this point that italy's not allowed to have nice tings in war Thunder.

I like the though process behind putting the sagittario at 9.0: Is an "early" jet, that doesn't accelerate quickly, small armament but good in a dogfight...so what they do next? Put it at 9.0 (5/10 games are 10.0) where dogfights are non existent, everyone has missiles and afterburners that can EASILY outspeed you just by going straight even if you come from a 3km dive. Is like using a cyka at 6.0 Yea maybe you can kill someone if they try to dogfight you, but if they are smart they just fly away and attack again

i get 4 kill games in the saggitario at 10.0 lmao, a-10s are it’s main threat due to aim-9ls

it's actually true. beside France had indeed put 2-plane stabilizer on at least 2 different model of osciliatory turret and the shooting recording of the AMX 50 with 100mm gun prove the stability of the gun to be better than the usual turret. there is documents that prove it as they specifically studied the recoil on the shooting range in the mid 50s

It's individual for each gun. You can either spend ome time at the test range or use ranging feature mid-battle. Takes some time, but corrects the lead automatically

And for gods sake tell them not to make it like naval ai aaa fire I don’t want to lose a wing tip 2500m above the battle while jinking around to take evasive action
