Shooting Show favourite Geoff Garrod is back in the limelight - facing possibly his biggest challenge yet. With the crops needing a clearout of pigeons and Geoff's son Josh keen to join him in the hide, the odds should be in our favour with twice the gunpower at our disposal. But Geoff will be using his famed 'one-bird horseshoe' decoy pattern - meaning if we don't get off to a good start, we'll struggle to attract any birds at all. On a sweltering day in Essex, the heat is on...

As always; excellent shooting action. And as usual I'm jealous as heck. Being an Essex resident with just a few shoots that almost never deliver. How do I get a day with an expert like Geoff? Keep up the super action.

Your vids are brilliant. When you shoot that many pigeons what do you do with them. I'm a airgunner and love pigeon breast meat. Just wondered if used yours for the table. Daz
