I went shopping in York and HAD to stop off at THE SHOP THAT MUST NOT BE NAMED! I was in my element filming before the shop even opened its doors for the day - watch on to see the magical wands, trinkets, clothing, jewellery, magical creatures and even Broomsticks (and much much more)that they have to offer us Witches and Wizards.
If you need Christmas gift ideas then this video will help to spark some ideas as lots of the items are available in many different potter shops and websites!
However I would HIGHLY ENCOURAGE any Potterpuffs to take a trip to the Shambles in York to come and experience the wonderful Shop That Must Not Be Named for yourself. I will link it below!

This was one of my favourite shops in York when I visited however it was small and overly crowded. I'm glad it has expanded.

Yes it’s now across two stores so is a lot more roomy. My top tip is to visit during the week and when Children are at School 👍💛🖤💛

I live in york and there is now 4 shops in the shambles, when the shops that must not be named first opened there was 4 hour ques . That carried on until a year later ! Honestly I love the shops .

Oh my Gosh! Must go! I'm in the States and 53 and I'm not ashamed to say I'm a fan of Harry Potter and have always wanted to visit England. Now on top of wanting to see the Harry Potter tour and Kings Cross and of course some non-Harry Potter places this is one area and shop I must see. Must go! not sure but one thing that I always top up on is the Hufflepuff candle in the Hufflepuff section it smells amazing and so citrusy . Did you go to the other two Harry Potter shops in the shambles

I live 20 minutes away from this shop and have only been ones as it always so busy and it’s quiet tucked away but I love walking past it as diagon alley was based around the street that shops on so it makes it feel even more like I’m in Harry Potter , When I went it had just opened and I queued for a hour and a half at the time you could on only have 5 people in at a time as it was very small I didn’t know they made it bigger I will have to go again as I live queit close to it I’m a huge Harry Potter fan as well 😊

I have a messenger bag in Gryffindor colours, it is awesome and I got it for Christmas last year. I recently become a great Auntie to my niece little boy and he is called Finley and I got meet him last week and it best week ever. York itself is just like Hogsmeade ! I lived in Scarborough for 2 years and going by train to York was lovely, I loved the Jorvik Viking Centre etc. but I do have a soft spot for thatched cottages and Yourk has alot of haunted places !!

Huge variety of cute items in this store, my favourites are the hardcover notebooks, that black dial deathly hallows watch, the Hedwig shaped mug, and that iridescent glass 😍 When you showed the student pointy hat I chuckled because it's the same hat that my sister had in her university uniform in the faculty of engineering of oporto... imagine that plus in all of oporto university we have to wear a black "wizard" cloak just like in Hogwarts... in fact I'm thinking that's probably how JK Rowling got the idea since she lived here in Oporto when she begun the writing HP. Also that street in Yorkshire is adorable, looks like Hogsmead, and lovely review! ❤

I live in York and this shop is a favourite though always busy. There are also a couple more magic themed shops including one thats 'potions' . I understand that the film company couldn't close the street for filming so they 'scanned' it basically and built a copy.. with added extras like Gringotts.

Bring back Jeremy Kyle, that is because some people have better equipment....my old dinasaur computer for example could boost the sound of it were low but the one I have at the moment is lacking on that. Arent people going to be so burnt out on Christmas doing this in October? I understand Christmas in July stuff but in October itll be like 3 months of Christmas stuff. I think I'll be sick of it by the time the actual holiday comes around

all paper notebooks should be archival and acid free - I find my writing and drawings to be that important and yours are too - otherwise it may be brittle and yellow in 20 years time!
