Great selection, man. I particularly love the army shorts, and they fit you so well. I seem to always go for a sporty look when wearing shorts (annoyingly...), so I appreciate all the outfit ideas.

I’ve never bought denim shorts. I always turn jeans into jorts when it’s time for new jeans. Also, I did have one of my DIY jort jobs hemmed, but that was a mistake.

Nice selection. I hate shorts too and just wear out of necessity. It’s been VERY hot and humid over here in the NYC area. My gotos are Lululemon pacebreaker shorts. They’re a perfect fit for me for all my casual summer outfits. Also got linen H&M shorts that are holding up well.

These are all a really good selection of shorts! I really like them all. Definitely going to be looking into them as we get into high summer and we won’t be dipping under 32C until mid September

For a more budget friendly option for the first ones, Uniqlo sells a courdroy short in almost the exact color for about 1/4th the price. Less boxy of a fit.

This is the year I really been getting into shorts. Linen, hemp, sateen fatigues, combat cargos, corduroy, denim, patagonia baggies, etc. But personally I cant get on board with the tapered shorts, it feels like a indentity crisis of still trying to look like pants. I like to lean into what shorts are, they look and feel best to me when they are relaxed and boxy so they hang free and flow easy.

@@JamesLeung Well, we do have blue-collar workers who wear shorts at work (but they're covered up in a fab bunny suit in the fab facility). Then the company offered shorts with compressive tights for the company's sports day event, but some folks were too uncomfortable with that so they offered jogging pants as an alternative. Many of us change our shoes to sandals in the office, but we keep our socks on.

I get your point but “good quads” is very subjective. Like your quads probably look terrible to a lot of people, doesn’t mean you should pay them any mind or stop wearing shorts. Same thing could be applied about tank tops if you don’t have “good biceps”. I don’t want to sweat in long sleeves and pants all summer so however my body looks to other people is honestly more of a problem for them( if that’s such a concern for them )than it is for me😂

I personally just think that exposing skinny legs with shorts looks unaesthetic, it looks proportionally off, espcially if you combine it with a relaxed shirt. Its the same reason I also think skinny jeans with a hoodie, which was thing for quite a while back then, looked terrible.
