Welcome to the Invokation Akademy Duelist Theater, where I'll showcase a Genius Invokation deck gameplay, along with a quick guide on how to effectively play it! Players, use this deck in the Cat's Tail Gathering!
I've been a fan of double Anemo decks ever since Genius Invokation first came out - and with Lynette being added in v4.3, she's breathed some new life in the archetype! These decks were traditionally built aggressive, which left Jean in an odd place - as she has the powerful ability to push opponents off characters, but never fit into the plan for Anemo decks. That is, until now!
Lynette's kit is perfect for slower strategies and so combines great with Jean! With both of them being sword users as well, this deck capitalizes on that and runs a suite of weapons for various situations! People have tried to build Anemo control decks for quite some time without much success - but this one looks to be quite strong!

This was a super exciting duel and kudos to you for playing around those horrendous dice rolls! I am a returning TCG player and I feel like I learned a lot from this one. I really appreciate hearing your thoughts during the duel in your videos and this channel in general!

Close one for sure, truly all Jean was missing was a good teammate before she got a deck as solid as this, a deck with solid stall capacity and two units with base 3 damage skills on top of swirls is spooky, I’ve run Mona/Jean/Chong a lot so I’ll probably give this deck a go

This deck baffles me so much. On paper it does not seem strong. They don't really focus on reactions, can be same-dice hungry with skills for damage, and Jean's healing is relatively delayed compared to other healer/shielder... But damn this deck is so hard to kill, especially with last standing lynette on buff

Since the buff I think Jean's been strong but just hasn't fit well into an archetype since Anemo decks don't want to stall. Otherwise it's just playing a powerful combination of cards, and can't ever underestimate how annoying it can be to be swapped off characters with Jean

Haha right now it's just me, so that's a big compliment! Luckily the Duelist Theaters are pretty low editing now that I've gotten a few of them done as a template! These total probably 4h of work

the dice during 4:33 were horrendous but then the round after they were amazing. baffling how you played around it tbh i would have quit

The dice in round 2 was so bad but it turned out to be perfect play. If it was me, i may not be able to think anything properly. Love all of your videos.

It'll come with practice! I will still miss very obvious plays as a few ppl have pointed out already - its very hard to make perfect plays in the moment

Oh, I also tried double anemo with jean and lynette, but my third character was lyney. Firstly lyney summons, then lynette skills and burst and finally jean skills and burst. This is not as safe as yours, but i like that twins are at the same deck. Anyway thanks for video it was pretty good

Oh haha I actually also recommended this when I did the character review cuz I also think the brother sister combo is fun and you get fatui resonance! It's also a good deck for sure

Will consider it! I almost did for the last version but ended up not having time with all the 4.3 changes coming in. And the deck has mostly been replaced by FiNaLy. I'll remember this though and try to find time!! Thank you for the comment

Ty for the guide! I have a question how is foliar good on this deck? I didn't think you would've want to NA on either Jean or Lynette

I think it's the worst sword, but the best option as the 3rd. I tried favonius for a bit and never really used the effect well. Foliars gives you some nice surprise finishing power with NAs, since it lets you do 9 dmg with 6 die. But definitely prioritize the other 2

Every time i play arena of champions theres a furina pfp that plays this deck and ive found them 3 times with 3 different decks i NEED to know how to beat this lynette dehya jean deck i am going inSANE

Combo decks tend to have good matchups into stall - so try Yelan OTK, or maybe a Bennett deck and go for burst

why don't kill Lyney at 11:00 using two wovens and tuning one card? If Lyney dies, there's only Nahida left to do dmg, yet she has 1 hp and dies from summons at the end phase if not healed. It's not even a risky play cuz u have so much hp on ur chars

Hm good point - I think I definitely should have there. I think I was too worried about losing Jean I wasn't thinking about how to win. Well spotted!
