@MDFishTanks I have a question... I was just wondering why you prefer to use small internal filters instead of sponge filters? I would have thought it would be cheaper to run sponge filters in all your tanks & especially for the shrimp tanks to avoid the shrimplets getting caught in the filter. Hey MD, I've noticed that you have your lights up above your tanks. Does this help the plant growth, or is it to cut down on the algae? I have lo tech ta333nks, and a couple planted 3.0 lights but do not get any growth that is close to your plants.
