I like 1:25 where the music gets intensified and it’s beautiful sync with the scene where they’re being escorted by mexican federal police, really adds the “you’re not safe anymore” vibe to it. Welcome to Juarez, the belly of the beast!

Such a good choice of music really amps up the tension and kind of fits with sicario soundtrack in mirroring the drums poundings. Brilliant edit.

TENET makes everything better

Is it just me or is there this universal meta link between Christopher Nolan and Denis Villeneuve? Hans Zimmer, composer of Denis' upcoming adaptation of Dune, and former regular composer of Nolan; recommends Ludwig Gorannson to do his film Tenet and now here is a content creator using Tenet's soundtrack to enhance the suspense of a film also by Denis Villeneuve. Oh not to mention Hans Zimmer also worked with Denis on Blade Runner 2049. These four guys should collaborate together on a movie is my point, really.

Nice video. A week or so ago, while listening to the track, I realized that it seemed highly similar to "The Beast". Perhaps it's coincidence, perhaps it served as inspiration, or perhaps "The Beast" served as a temp. track during editing and Ludwig imitated it. I wouldn't be at all surprised (even though Nolan maintains that he avoids temp. scores).

The editing with the music is impeccable and synced perfectly. Its as if both are meant to be. edit: I also loved how you edited the footage to fit with the song's focus too! I loved the fact you chose the long shot for the 1:50 song mark! EVERY EDIT FITS! Every amount of detail was well thought out too.. 2:16 when the melody(?) was added to show the ambience and setting of Mexico too was fitting!
