I was very disappointed by the Simpsons game for the PS3. However, this game is wonderful. You get to do so much and it's in an open world setting. I love it!

Rockstar and Matt Groening should make a new Simpsons hit and run I would totally buy it.

Ah, the good old Memories, I remember playing this when I was 5 or younger. It's an awesome game. Best PS2 game I ever played.

played the shit out of this game. i mostly kicked people in the nuts. :( any way best Simpson game ever.

I love how in these old reviews they seemed to just give zero fucks. "Oh ya know, the graphics are pretty good, and like, the animations all work well and everything, they do a really good job, and it's just, you could definitely say it's really well done"

My favorite game as a child and even now compared to alot of newer games.

the reason the maps were in a circular track with shortcuts was so younger kids can easily follow the game and not get too confused.still a fun game!

I hope they make a sequel. Were u get more characters, cars e.t.c. Would be so flippin immense

i absolutely loved this game, it brought the free-roam aspect of gta to a comical simpsons environment and it was pure awesome. the rocket car, the gags the secret episode of itchy and scratchy, PURE GOLD. i have completed this many times and i plan to again and again.

I wish the sequel would come true, and will have non-linear missions. This game should also have radiostations, more vehicles from the TV series & even involve the family a bit more.

My cousin got this on PlayStation 2 when it came out and I never liked getting timed to do missions so I never bought it myself for GameCube but now after so many years I feel like finding a copy to play on my Wii

Best feature in the game is "Skip mission" since many of the missions I found to be quite difficult(apu trash pick-up). Some can be beat later with better cars. But I'm stuck on the laser gun stand smash-up misison(w Globex car). Can that be skipped?

It is a bit rare. They probably discontinued manufacture of the game a very long time ago, so by now most copies floating around have been bought. There just aren't very many on the market. You can buy it new for between $50-$90 from some places it seems. However, the PC version is like $15 for the PC. Not bad!! I still have my Gamecube version from years ago. It's a great game! I hope you love it as much as I do!

you know you can disable the camera thing to make it how you want in the options menu.

this brings back memories of PS2 days, no shooter ups just good old homer :)

The biggest problem I had with this game is the linear levels. Each of the three maps looks really good, but they are basically a circular track with shortcuts. Still a great game, but would have been better if Springfield was a bit more open. Despite what most people say, I think this game is more like a copy of Driver then Grand Theft Auto.

Still have this game I have to say my favorite level is Lisa's level. The look of her level is very soothing with the sunset and California like look to it.

very good review. except, some of these clips are from the play stations, and some from gamecube and such. you can tell from the button control alerts. like it will say Y, then like X or something.

one thing that always confused me about this game is that why is apu a main charecter that confused me he doesn't play a particularly large role in the hsow

Great storyline, but everything else gets a little repetitive, for instance: the whole game is basically timed mission after timed mission, and more than likely you're gonna do them over and over again so you'll get so used to it that it gets...boring. Fun to play for the first time, but don't bother picking it up again once you're finished unless you really love the simpsons. Storyline 10/10 though lol

@VaiTrooper I loved this game, and I used to think it was better than GTA, but it really isn't if you actually play both. The maps are small series of corridors, there are fewer cars, and no weapons. Don't get me wrong, I loved this game, but GTA is pretty incredible.

Not my favourite game ever, but it is definently up there in the Top 10.

You couldnt fault the driving but the Springfield was pretty empty in terms of things to do or places you could enter.

not rly,their overlords activision kinda closed them cuz of some reason about prototype 2,but some of workers are fired while some of them are left in activision to work on other projects

@feeshload Destroy any car driving around and you get 10 coins. If it has an arrow that's green, you have to follow it. If the arrow is red, destroying it is part of the mission.

They reviewed the Gamecube version I see. I had both the Gamecube and Xbox versions, and I can say that the GC version is very buggy in comparison. The Xbox version is far superior. It was really unfortunate. But still a great game! LOVE this game.
