love your videos and the fact that you're playing the Sims 1!! i just started playing it too but tried playing it in 1440p and there are really no upsides to trying to play such an old game in 1440p, it just makes the UI too small relative to the rest of the screen lol. looks like you did 1080p which i think makes the most sense for Sims 1.

53:56 yes you can ask for reassessment, because sadly in Canada a lot of the worth, like real worth was inflated due to the "demand" but really just foreign people buying out a lot of the property before regular folk could bid and they would pay up to 300k over asking so here we are.. how many years later and in the same problem as before. sleeping on a towel sucks, back in grade school my class had a field trip to the coast for a couple days and my parents didn't pack me a sleeping bag or blankets so I had to sleep with towels since they thought "the coast" meant fun on the beach when it was actually just an educational 'look at this shit" kind of field trip. towel bed wasn't my lowest point since a classmate accused me of stealing from him after he asked to put things in my backpack for safe-keeping. not really shocked he pulled the same shithead behavior a couple years later when he took my necklace to make fun of my posture/walk to impress other students. what hurt the most was that he was never shady about it, he was openly two-faced, did it right in front of me and yet according to my guidance counselor I was in the wrong because "I was bottling my anger" for not reacting like he wanted and taking it in stride.

Swedish is rather hard for English speakers to learn, simply because they all speak English, and will switch at the least provocation. Took me 3 years living and working there to be able to use it
