This is super long play and the final update of my Hicks family. I warn you the family progresses very slowly since I was just playing at my own speed.
I played this family to re-learn how to play the game and to re-acquaint myself with various CCs I downloaded years ago. It look a while to get a hang of things but I managed to get the game running in a way that I like. Thank goodness for all the old CCs and the new objects by Corylea :o) I could have stayed and done more for this lot, like garden and decor, etc; but the lot was getting a bit unstable so I left it at this. I'm planning to come back and let them fulfill their career and let Mama retire at a later date :o)
While playing this family, I wrote up some to do list for my next play. One of them is to make better shops in Downtown and Old Town. There's nothing fun to do at those default lots. Another is to play a magic sim. I never really used everything that came in Makin' Magic EP. And lastly, I need to look up how sims woohoo in sims 1. The newly weds never woohoo-ed even after I got Love Bed for them :o(
