Years ago I was invited to The Rambo's home for dinner. Dottie & Buck were living with Reba & Dony in Nashville. After we had eaten dinner I talked them in to singing. Reba said they hadn't sung together in 10 years. I begged and told them if they ever wanted me to go home they would have to sing. They did. Little did I know this would be the last time they ever sang together.

How wonderful it will be when we're all finally home, no more divorce, no more divisions, broken lives, hearts and struggling. This humanity with all its weaknesses will be traded for immortality, and only love will we know and share for eternity. Longing for home, it's almost time!

Folks, this is annointed music. The way I know is that it speaks to my heart and soul, and strengthens my desire to live for my Father, God. You will never hear the same kind of harmony, outside a family. Family harmony ...bc..they practiced constantly bc they loved it that much! Thank you, God for music that ministers to the Saved in one way, and the lost in another.

One of the best vocal trios. They were especially skilled at switching parts throughout a song to accommodate their individual ranges, so smoothly it was sometimes hard to distinguish. Dony's piano work is great as well.

I remember my parents listening to them when i was growing up. As a kid i didn't like them, because i was more into the contemporary stuff.... but now, i have an appreciation for them, i love to hear old recordings of the Rambos. Dottie was an anointed songwriter. We lost a good one when we lost her, and the Rambos will be forever missed.

What a little treasure to stumble across. I loved to hear Dottie sing. I was only able to see her in a concert 1 time, and that was with TBN in Cincinnati Ohio at Tri County Assembly Of God. Poor thing she suffered so many years. BUT, she is fully healed now, is singing in Heaven's choir. Thanks for sharing Mark Lowry, this is truly a personal experience for you and I'm grateful to see it.

My mom always ended up talking to the ladies after the concerts, and they were always so loving and gracious! Dottie was killed on Mothers Day, 2008. It's easy for me to remember because my Daddy died a few weeks later. My Mother died Dec.16, 2008. We were all big Rambo fans, tho we never had the opportunity to see them in person. We dearly loved them. I can just imagine Reba ❤ when she gets to Heaven, running all over the streets of gold calling her ❤mama. Isn't that a glorious picture! ❤

Mark this reminds me of my childhood. My mother’s large family would gather around the living room and sing like this with my uncles playing their guitars. All of my uncles were ordained pastors except one. I loved those days. Miss them so much!!! I can’t wait for us all to get together in heaven so I can hear them all sing again. My mom could sing really good and sang in church a lot. My mom and her siblings would get up on stage all together with grandma and sing one specific song that they would sing whenever all of them got together. It was so beautiful. Can’t wait to hear it again some day also!! I wish I could have inherited my moms voice. 😁 God bless you Mark for posting this! It would be a real treat to hear you sing their song. Guess who wrote it. LOL It is called When Jesus Breaks The Morning. Love ya Mark. Please sing it for me.

In my opinion, there has never been a voice better than Reba's and there has never been a better songwriter than Dottie. What a talented and anointed group this was. It was a very sad day when they stopped singing together. I had the extreme good fortune to see Dottie perform by herself in the theater of Ernest Tubb's Record Shop on Music Valley Drive in Nashville. She was very ill and extremely weak, and they brought a stool out for her to sit on while she was singing. I came home and told my husband that I had just seen Dottie Rambo for the last time. She died a very short time after that. I like to think that she is currently teaching angels how to sing. Thank you so much, Mark, for posting this video. As I listened to this, I thought how awesome to have been a neighbor of the Rambos back in their heyday when they were practicing their songs over and over. I would have kept my windows open and just spent hours listening to their beautiful singing.

I am still impressed by their harmonies which are spot on. This film is also nice because they were having a good time together as a family and they seem happy. A powerful and perfectly matched gospel trio. I am sure people have been saved through their ministry.
