Just an idea that came to mind, if I visualize myself living joyfully etc, then naturally there would be defensiveness felt in body (because it does not fit in with the belief patterns) , feeling the defensiveness and questioning the held beliefs might be good. ☺️

I want to start off by saying thank you Dennis you've helped me so much over the past year just by listening to your KZfaq videos you've given me so many tools to help with my anxiety I've never commented on the KZfaq video before but more people need to know about you you truly are a genius when it comes to your craft you have any tips for journaling

You're very welcome Jason glad you came out with your first comment :) As far as journalling goes there are a few rules to it: Rule #1) Have a morning journal (for all the things you're excited about for the day), and an evening journal (for a look back on your successes in the areas of thinking, words you expressed, and actions). Rule #2) Be consistent for 4 weeks. Rule #3) Connect the feelings that are directly associated to the things you're writing down. Feeling are what make it real in your nervous system, so put yourself directly onto the words you're writing down and feel. Much love.

Thank you Dennis for all the good information and tools that you put out there that’s accessible and free. Your advise has helped me more than any therapy or medication. As a nurse, I’m constantly flooded with the reminder of how fragile our lives can be. You’ve helped me so much with my health anxiety. I was contemplating leaving nursing all together. I believe you truly understand and you truly care about helping others. You have such a gift for helping. I look forward to your weekly podcasts and I love to share them with friends, family, patients, and even strangers when they’re struggling with anxiety.

Meng Sheng Shifting the pairing, the association you make to something will shift the emotion and ultimately the behaviours. Best to work with a cbt or nlp specialist who can guide you towards a perception shift.
