I’ve seen Captain Miller on several videos. He seems to be the best captain in all of Alaska. I usually go DIY, but I’d consider him as a guide. Fun to see someone who loves his job and isn’t trying to show how smart he is.

This slot limit sucks seeing how most of the slot limits only apply to charter fishermen ,recreational fishermen can keep a lot more of the lings and halibut. You'd think Alaska would want more charter folks flying in that puts 10s of millions into the economy.

The thing is though, even knowing those regulations, the good charters are still fully booked. That's a win for the fish and the state. Besides this, there's far more money coming in from the other aspects of tourism.

They don't bleed the fish,that isn't good for the quality of the meat

Such an improvement in the new SFT shows. These old ones are terrible. This whole episode begins with a fish being brought to the boat with no fight sequence and they don't even tell us what the fish is for the entire time it's on the boat. Along with jarring product placement. "On the Berkeley power bait!" Buddy, I don't even know what you caught yet and you're already trying to sell me.
