One day, two students were asked on an English test to describe a man who, in the past, had a suffered from a cold. The first student wrote: "The man had a cold", to which the teacher marked as incorrect. The second student however, wrote: "The man had had a cold", which the teacher was pleased with. In conclusion, Student A, while Student B had had "had," had had "had had"; "had had" had had a better effect on the teacher.

@@Desh681 that's a lot of hads. In Dutch we had a guy who made a sentence of 16 times the same word: bergen. Where bergen can mean, hide, mountain, loads, and a town named Bergen
