If you are still confused about the skin rarity system in basically means how rare that skin was in the crate that it came from. Since red and blue accel are the rarest skins in the basic crate they have a rare rarity rather than common. Exclusive rarity means the skin can no longer be obtained so like event skins and such. If I'm correct the grand theft soldier used to be legendary before it was added to the deluxe crate. So I'm not truly sure how they rate the towers.

first of all, both red and blue accelerator rock. max red gets this kind of gold Lazer color. second of all, this isn't steak, the rarities aren't talking about quality, it's more of, how hard it is to get them. like the grand theft soldier (i think of it more as hotline Miami) is one of the more common skins in the deluxe crate. and the best skin xr500 turret is one of the rarest on the premium crate. crates are what you use to rate quality. what doesn't make sense is the fact that the checker crook boss is still in the premium crate, or why the GREEN PAINTBALLER isn't its own crate, no, it should be getting its own rarity, it is the BEST tds skin EVER.

I feel as though another reason there are weird skin rarities is so that, for example, with mage accelerator, it isn't just a legendary skin, its a rare, so you have a higher chance of getting it.

The rarity of skins is determined by the skin box, for example, a premium box, a legendary skin is like a rare delix box

the way it works is the rarity doesn't change skin detail, that is the crates job. Plus, the rarity of the towers is not based on looks, its based on its percent chance to get it from the crate it's in. For example, grand theft soldier has lots of detail in it but is a common, this is because it is one of the more likely deluxe crate skins you will get!

Most skins that look cool but are common/uncommon/rare come from a rare crate and normally are less desired by the community, like phantom shotgunner is in the phantom crate, grand theft soldier is in the deluxe, so on and so fourth.

Deluxe crate doesn't include garbage skins, that's why the skin rarities works and are pretty good actually

i think with the deluxe crate you should be able to pick the skin you want since the main way to get them is robux other than hardcore but thats 1 crate

Skin rarities aren't solely based off of how good they look. The rarity is also dependent on how much the community liked it (back when they first added skin rarities), how much time it took to make, tower status, how different it is compared to other skins for that tower, and what crate it's in. For example, the Grand Theft Soldier looks pretty good. But, since it's in the Deluxe crate, and other skins in the Deluxe crate are more detailed, took longer to make, or are just more desired, it's ranked common. This applies to Phantom Shotgunner, too. It is also pretty good, but compared to other Phantom skins, such as the Phantom Commander, which has custom voicelines and animations, it isn't as good, so it goes in Uncommon. Of course, there are some exceptions. But, there aren't many of them. Also, removing the different chances from rarities makes them completely pointless. If you want a specific skin, go to the daily store.

I mean it's make sense since if you don't have money you just have to wait for weekly quest bringing deluxe crates and you didn't get the skin you wanted, the game will just keep you waiting for it, things will keep amounts of players and people didn't really have problem with it cuz while you waiting you can just play other game while waiting for it and most of it **it's just a skin so don't take it too serious**

i may agree with the other points, but making all of the skins the same percentage would just make rarities completely useless, like imagine red scout having the same % to get from a crate as the rarest skin in the crate.
