That reel is very light also. Maybe 6oz. I put a 7.5:1 on Andy's thunder cricket rod to go down the bank. Both are terrific rods!

Thanks for the rod. Review I really enjoy skipping a Dudley wacky worm With finesse braid and a fusion 19 3/0 wacky hook Glides so good

Nice run down of the SP reel... It's $150 on most sites now... Good to know it can be used for more than just skipping👍 I'm probably pullin the trigger on this one! 😎

Good stuff, man. I pulled the trigger on this about 6 weeks ago and started skipping my face off! Its tricky, but so rewarding. (shoulda started with a spinning rod. Haha!) I do the exact same as you with the 6'9" rod, but a rage bug trailer. (also just started skipping a thunder cricket)

Awesome!!! When you learn to slip it’s so much fun. Then you try to find as many situations possible to slip a bait lol 😂. The Rage Bug is one of my favorite trailers. I have a bunch of them. Thanks for subscribing.
