This monstrous man is so powerful. I checked Michael Skolnik's Wikipedia page. They don't even dare to mention Dr David Wayne Miller. The medical system is broken! Sociopaths crazy for cash rule the roost.

Thank you for sharing Michaels story. I would like you to know that your story is being used in medical classes to educate future healthcare providers on avoidable errors. Thank you for being so raw, open, and transparent. I vow to you that I will be transparent with my patients and carry on Michael’s legacy. May he Rest In Peace, and may you find comfort knowing that we will do everything to prevent this from happening to another family.

My husband of 60 years, had to spend his last 6 months in a nursing home. I looked endlessly for the right place. What a mess I found. Not one was a worthy one. I am in Tx. Now Iam a retired nurse LVN. I worked in Ca. been retired for 21 years. Iam proud to say my team and I did a good job. Now that was in the 60, 70, 80,90. Now days it is a MESS. It appears we as a society do not care anymore. SAD. The government doesn’t care, the owners don’t care and the staff doesn’t care. Where have our ethics gone? So my advice is use Hospice and take care of your own at home. They are excellent in all things. They care. So sorry to hear about your son. ✝️May God bless you and yours.

Neurosurgeon? neurologist first to treat a seizure disorder. This whole situation was wrong from the beginning, primary should have sent to neurologist then neurologist can do the ground work and see if any surgery is indicated then he sends to surgeon.. The neurosurgeon cuts for a living. What the hell is "heavy manipulation of the brain". Sounds like a crime to me. No family should have to go through this absolutely, my heart goes out to you.

I was born w/a cyst in the brain and to make matters worse in an inoperable location the worst area near the brain stem. Cysts aren't tumors. Theyre not malignant. Other then mild form of cp and epilepsy. Im fine. U dont die. I monitor it

Its showing up on my homepage and i'm 22 yrs just finished my nursing school but I have developed major anxiety towards taking the charge in my hand in hospital settings(because I kinda lack in some areas and confusion, memory problems) after that there are more things happening I have this weird headache behind my ears and numbness & stiffness which is affecting my left arms since weeks pain in my bones, breathing difficulties, burning sensation in throat time to time. I visited a doctor told him about the headache and numbness he told me to go through some tests like a CT scan of head plain, xray of my neck spinal cord, tsh blood sugar but nothing came out in these tests yet I am still suffering through these symptoms accompanied with sleep disturbances eps he wrote some medications and take them for 10 days symptoms are still there I don't know what's wrong i'm suffering and they are not able to find it out. Its so exhausting. Feels like i'm gonna meet the same fate as Michael.

I would suggest to try a food elimination diet just to check if maybe your health issues are due to a food sensitivity, like a sensitivity to nightshades, gluten, lectins, dairy or something else. For example I wanted to start eating healthier, so I started eating salads almost everyday and the main thing that I would add to them was tomatoes, and during that time I would have crazy night sweats in the middle of winter and no matter what I tried like sleeping with less clothes or with the heater off didn't work. Then months later I stumbled upon a video about food sensitivities and how nightshades may cause night sweats (because they affect your thyroid and hormones) and also arthritis (I also had often pain in my joints). So I tried cutting off all nightshades like tomatoes, potatoes (sweet potatoes are fine, since they are not nightshades), goji berry, eggplant, all pepper (not black or white pepper, they are not nightshades) and my symptoms stopped, once I added these foods back into my diet within a week the symptoms returned. So now I eat tomatoes very rarely like once every 2 weeks and in small amounts (mostly in pizzas). I know my symptoms are not the same as yours, but who knows what I mentioned about inflammation that is created due to food sensitivities may help you or someone else. For info you can search on KZfaq stuff like ' anti-inflammation diet ' or ' food elimination diet '.

Thank you for your question, Allison. In this case, there were several medical errors. There were diagnostic errors (no cyst was ever found), communication errors (no shared decision-making with family on experience or alternative treatment), and operations errors (surgery was on late Friday and then the surgeon left for the weekend).

I would guess he doesn't understand how valuable a male nurse can be and didn't treat him respectfully. I think he's taken out aggression on the patient. Like this is a problem micro aggressions can lead to.

Patty should have gone after Dr. Frankenstein M. And make an example. After everything that was determined what he did wrong. Then you fall for a lieing boad dude saying doctor did nothing wrong. Of course they'll lie to you to cover their corruption. And you fell for it,and did not take a stand against this butcher. Shame on you.
