For all those stuggling to understand why Vic and Bob are so highly revered let give you a one word reason - inspiration. Like all great innovators they're legacy is the newness of what they did at the time. We all new it was brilliantly diverse and funny but it needed them to expose us to it. It's all in the subtlety and the depth of observation of the characters. Characters, that in order to find funny you have to appreciate the multi-layers. Please don't talk crap about Harry Enfied etc - all of which are great but they didn't deliver the heights of V&B. Yes it is often inconsistent but that's the difference between genius and the mainstream - you have to understand and accept that when appreciating it.
@kenmills307 жыл бұрын
Less and less people understand the truth of what you're saying in these politically controlled and technologically ordered times we live in especially the under 40s who have been conditioned in intellectual rationalized conformity based on the obvious and structured thought where randomness and creativity has little place and is almost seen as a form of idiocy or the result of an unbalanced mind.
