But in all fairness the goal of all bacteria and for that matter fungus isn't to kill the host but to simply leech off the nutrients the host acquires. Death of the host is nothing more but an unwanted side effect. Fungus will never evolve to harm humans cuz there is no point doing so. Some of the most deadliest bacteria are cross species bacteria that don't harm the species they initially evolved to adapt to. Also fungus and parasites are living things. It's weird but I will say that fungus do no mutate like bacteria. They are very much "stable".
