I think it is great how Morrissey just walked off right in the middle of a live broadcast. The rest of the band covered for him well.

This is the show that Marr cites as the biggest embarrassment because of this incident. The band handles it pretty well though. As a fellow contact lens wearer, I can sympathize with Morrissey. Anything that hits my eyes can really irritate it. He probably had to rinse his eye or use drops. Things happen and incidents like these show that celebrities are human.

It was evidently an accident- whoever threw that daisy must've felt a lot more embarrassed than they did, for a lot longer... The reason Morrissey says "And so do you!" at the end.

@timewillprove: Unlike Liverpool, Morrissey came back after only a minute and just destroyed the song with the falsetto bit. If only he managed to remain the same kind of trooper he was back in 83...

I love the Smiths but the whole flower thing is really lame, and a bit too gay. It's cool just listening to the band while he's off stage. Marr and Rourke sound great.
