Say what you will, but as an 18 year old, hearing this for the first time!..My head nearly exploded. It may make you feel uncomfortable, but for those of us needing an outlet for existential angst, they absolutely did the trick for me. I'm 50 now, and still stunned by it!

mental the smiths fell out, and couldnt agree over MONEY, the messages the smiths give out, positive vibes, the freedom of the music, and morrissey cant get over that fall out, its only money though i suppose "money changes everything"

'What she said was not for the job or lover that she never had' Morrisey gabbles a bit when he can't make the words fit. He just does it in a semi-comical way, so we all love it even more. Same as his trademark hipster-yodeling.

Anyone know where this was filmed/recorded? In 1985, the NME gave away a free EP with a version of 'What She Said' recorded live in Oxford in March of that year - but this isn't it.
