You know a band is great when all of their live performances on KZfaq are choppy VHS recordings, and yet they still sound amazing.

This song always brings me back...High School, emotional and crying into my pillow listening to this song after school. One of my Favorites of all time. Passion is under- rated.

In Morrissey's own words these are songs for life and people will be playing them for a long time yet.

How are they not in the rock and roll hall of fame? This song is so hauntingly beautiful, reminds me of a beautiful time in high school 1992

Proof that the 'song' is the most important element to a great band. It is so simple, hardly anything going on, simple drums, simple guitar, simple bass and a strong melody. Just brilliant.

I liked the Smiths before I heard this but hearing this for the first time was a jaw dropping moment, I lived and breathed the debut album as an 18 year old in 1984.

You are so right!!!! I was exposed to the smiths only about a year ago!!! :-(((( hey are definitely the best band in the magical 80's, and on top 5 or 3 of all times, alongside U2, the cure and REM!!! Aviad, Israel.
