7k hours in tarkov, I've had a lot of enjoyment over the years. But I feel BSG truly lost the plot. Excluding the Unheard drama. They should have prioritized Netcode updating, performance overhaul, new anti cheat system and made that TOP PRIORITY before pushing out any content. Granted this would have slowed shit down, but the end result would have been A MUCH MUCH better game. Unfortunately they prioritized content (even that was generally fairly slow) and slowly but surely changing the game, making it harder and harder for people with lives to have fun with the game. ABO can be enjoyed by 9-5 dads, students who have very little time or just people who don't want/can't spend 40 hours a week GRINDING. You don't have to be a top 1% player to nock down entire teams and come out stacked. They took all the good of tarkov, left out the bad/unnecessary, significantly iterated on the formula and gave us all the QOL the VAST majority of the community has been asking for since day 1. This IS NOT a copy paste, I initially thought it was. The more you play, the more you see it. I knew one day someone would come along, "copy" the formula and make it better. It was inevitable. Now BSG has a choice, they can actually focus on making the game better, or lose a HUGE chunk of their player base forever. This can either be the end of Tarkov, or the beginning of some MUCH NEEDED changes. Sadly BSG will have a HUGE uphill battle, because of their foolish greedy choices with unheard. I just don't know if they are capable of doing it. They seem to be pretty tone deaf so far.

BSG's codebase for EFT is so fucked that they just want to ship Tarkov away into release and move onto their next singleplayer game. I am going to guess that that's what will happen, with only a few maps and some minor additions coming after release as "DLC".

I think tarkov can come out on top, but it will require stepping up and improving the game. Idk is Nikita and team are lazy/greedy or incompetent, so we’ll see how they react. If they have just been lazy and now they wake up and improve sound / performance / QoL based on what they learn from ABI, I think tarkov truly is the better game. If tarkov stays the same, it will die. Tarkov community has criticized the spaghetti code for years…so if the armchair experts are right then I think tarkov is fucked. If they are wrong, then it has a chance and the fate is in Nikita’s hands.

Here are some tetris tips for the next time you get a juicy raid: Bags can be placed inside bigger bags (or even bags of the same size if they have the same/fitting layout), so instead of wasting space rolling up a bag and putting it in your bag, put your loot in the bag and place it in your bag. Yes it's gonna be more inconvenient to Tetris later but it'll save you 2-4 slots that you can use to maybe grab a helmet or some expensive attachments Some weapons can have foldable stocks or take less space when you remove the mag, like the ACE-31 that you looted in this raid. Know what you want to use and what you want to sell. The M4 you looted might be expensive but so far I've only seen you run FALs and SJ16s, so you could just take the attachments off the M4 to save space and weight

I always wondered I play on the mobile version but how does the bullet damage become effected if at all when you shoot through doors at someone. Just wondered if the damage becomes mitigated when it travels through the door to someone. Because either my aim is horrible or I’m aiming to much center mass just looking for some info. 😃

I came into valley full t 6 on lockdown and we ran into a Chinese team on spawn with all .338 with AP rounds I instantly died. They need to nerf this gun into oblivion it’s way too easy to kill with it 🤣

AP rounds from .338 shouldn’t through full t6 armor. It’s only meant to bring down t5 and below. Only armour that one shots t6 is ax 50 sniper.

Although you are right, you are also wrong lol. Any bullet had the CHANCE to go through any armor. The lower the tier of round the lower the chance. So that being said you can have t1 bullet go through your t6 helmet if RNG hates you.

Nope that’s not possible. Gear needs to be brought back with your team mates. In the future however there is an insurance system which would work however its costly and doesnt fully recover all of your inventory.

The faster pace, slightly more casual play, and otherwise near identical other parts have made this game for 80-90% of the EFT base saying, "EFT? wtf is that game?" I stopped playing for 3 years now, and damn this looks so much better than the Russian war supporters that BSG is.

Instead of fighting witch game is better how about just enjoy the fact we have a CHOICE now. For what the better part of 7 years EFT was the only extraction shooter on PC. They had free reign of what they did with the game and knew people would take it in the ass cause it was the only game like it. Now thye have ABI to worry about taking its players. BSG will now probably care more about their community and listen to their fans more so they don't go to ABI. I think ABI is a nice inbetween. It's the extraction shooter you play when you don't have tons of time and just want to get into action. Where as EFT is the one you want to play when it's your days off and you want a little more serious gameplay. And If you dislike either of them it ssi please play the one you like now we have a CHOICE!
