He also cut his hand off so that d can use it to grab the artifact thats why after the d pretended to be hibiki and kill “d” he had his hand healing because he had used hibikis hand to grab the weapon and kill “d” and then threw hibikis hand away behind his back to get his own back

They cut out a lot of info in this episode, so this comment is to clear up the confusion for anyone who hasn’t read manga. Hibiki told D his backstory so that he could learn to trust him a bit and because he was trying to tell him that fighting the rangers won’t solve everything, and after telling D his plan to trade places and have D infiltrate the base by living as him D was still wary of Hibiki so to prove his resolve he cut off his arm and use it to make the goo guy believe he was D, and then have D pretend to kill him to protect the goo guy cause he knows that guy values bonds. Also the reason D can do Hibiki’s eyes correctly now is because he said that he couldn’t understand him before. If they talk about the plan in more detail in the next episode I’m gonna lose it

Also, not sure if you’ve heard by now, but they’re on a break this Sunday due to golf (I blame Tokita from last episode.) 11:01 - Hekiru’s a parody on ‘the power of friendship and bonds,’ saying that while slimy with the ability of the Replica and quick on trying to kill a fellow rookie, just to kill a Duster. Some manga readers are also jumping the gun with saying it’s rushed/mentioning the ‘skipped’ content, because they’ve been rearranging scenes every episode so far, for pacing/reveals to have more impact (though, yes, there are some short scenes that likely won’t/didn’t get adapted due to time, like the parents being activists for nature and anti-violence, on top of being very religious, making Hibiki spread their ideals to others, too.) I know a few that thought this series was too slow, so the changes/pacing should be fine (even JP manga readers felt similarly), especially with how chaotic this series can get.

The goo thing is like acid and is the power of the divine artifact, that's why Footsoldier D couldn't hold it because it melted his hand. They just made it look weird in the anime.

They cut a bunch of stuff out, but after rewatching this episode and getting past the weird feeling that stuff is missing, I actually like this version better. I love how some things are basically left for interpretation/discussion and it's much more fun seeing people piece things together without being explicitly told things and the fact the characters feel like they do drastic things on a whim makes them feel way more unhinged. UNDERSTANDABLY SO WITH A PAST LIKE THAT

I haven't read the manga but i'vs seen a lot fo comments in this video saying they cut out a lot fo stuff.....and yeah, why did they? Therese so much just cut, for no reason. there's important stuff in there. Also the order of events have been switched around, dunno why. I'm not gonna say what stuff was cut, in case its shown next episode as a flashback or as another reorder of scenes. I urge everyone to read the chapters of this. thinks its like ch6-10

Tbh, between the monsters and the rangers, well...i root for none, but i'll tell you this: I ROOT FOR BEST GIRL HISUI, SHE'S FINALLY HERE BOYS!!! (blondie with Green Keeper). This girl is a 10/10 character, IF NOT the best character in the series
