Hi, jon. Here's a fun fact: In JP version when Arlecchino asked about mother-daughter argument she was specifically used the word "oyako"which only used when said parent and child had blood relation. Which means Clervie, the girl with reddish hair, was the previous Knave's birth-daughter. The theory was that previous Knave wasn't satisfied with her own daughter bcs she was 'kind' and 'innocent'. Saw it as a 'useless' trait, which was why she wanted Arlecchino to be 'King'. The previous Knave said 'she should've pruned the flower before it wilted' alluding to the fact she should've killed her own daughter long ago rather than saw her (probably 'sacrificing herself') died like that. Clervie was wearing Lumidouce bell flower pendant around her neck. The flowers also held by previous Knave and looked at by Arlecchino when she was down.

Also in <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="364">6:04</a>, you missed the part where 2 Fatui guards talking each other about Arlecchino just killed a Harbinger, basically the "Mother" here was a Fatui Harbinger, which is why Arlecchino has to be put in jail. Then later the snowflake that flew pass her to the window is actually not her thinking of her friend, I think what it meant is the Tsaritsa "welcome" her to become a Fatui Harbinger (I mean the Tsaritsa is the Cryo Archon, and snowflake is related). That's all I have to say, your reaction video is definitely faster than everyone lol

I might be making a stretch here, but when Arle saw the auroras before she was officially named the Knave, it was bittersweet since her friend wasn't able to see the lights with her, but it was also kinda symbolic like her friend is with her in spirit in that moment.🤧🤧🤧

Which means she rose to her current rank as the 4th. Also she is still Young so her potential keeps growing. She might be the hardest Fatui Harbinger the Traveler will face yet.

I love how every reactor I’ve watched so far completely misses the fact that the story at the beginning just directly tells us that children in this orphanage are forced to fight each other until only one remains. It’s not even subtle - they just straight up tell you, with a visual of a bunny sitting on top of bodies of other bunnies. It’s so obvious - yet then it’s followed by a cheery colourful atmosphere, with smiling kids and a sweet woman. Seeing all that just puts you in a dissonance- how can something so horrible just be said and nobody’s reacting? Everything seems so happy. So you just forget. Your brain just pushes that information out almost immediately, and then everyone is confused as to why Arlecchino killed her friend (or at least that’s how it seems), and miss the whole plot point. The pretty picture of the orphanage makes you question the horrible truth, until you forget it and then are shocked when the inevitable happens. I just think it’s a cool illustration of how the House worked with the previous Mother

(She was wearing the Lumidouce Bell Flower pendant). She is also the Mother’s BIOLOGICAL DAUGHTER. She probably forced the two to fight, knowing that her daughter is weak and her getting killed will prepare Peruere (Arlecchino)to become the “King”. hope this helps. 👍🏻👍🏻

The reason why Arlecchino had to kill Clervie is explained at the very beginning with the "story", the children had to fight each other to determine the "King". Hence Clervie saying she'll become a great "King", also like why she apologized and thanked Arlecchino, apologizing over how they had to fight and thanking Arlecchino for being the one that won. Also when "Mother" was talking about the wilted flower, she was talking about Clervie (who was also her biological daughter not an orphan) as Clervie has a necklace with that same flower, she wasn't talking about Arlecchino.

Spoiler Alert!!!! Pink/Read-headed girl Clervie is actually the past Arlecchino's daughter! That's why they look alike. When Father Arlecchino asked "Do mothers usually fight with their daughter" she meant Clervie and her Mother. When Mother said she should have pruned the flower before it wilted and innocence and kindness are "useless" qualities were meant for Clervie since mother wabted Clervie to become King but she was too soft to become one.

So the house of the hearth is basically the training camp from Naked Weapon... 😂
