This song is one of my favorites that he performs. It's so great to watch him play again. It just doesn't get any better than this. The Song IS Fred Hersch.

Am green with envy. Wish I could play at this level in this style. Beautifully done - rhapsodic ballad from 1932 written by Jerome Kern (music) & Oscar Hammerstein II (lyrics) This is a song that used to run through my head as a young boy, occasionally attempting to sing it in operatic style.
