The fact remains, it was Butchie who ordered and setup the hits on the NJ family "management", namely, Bobby, Sil and Tony. AJ's girlfriend Rihanna also knew where Tony would be that night and could have been planted there by Butchie. If Patsy was in on it and had flipped over to NY, he would have been told to stay away from the Bing that day, when Sil got hit but that never happened! One of the guys that shot Sil was wearing a members only jacket as well, so it infers the hit on Tony ultimately came from NY!

The theoretical motive of Patsy for killing Tony is way too illogical and weak. Who wanted to kill Tony? New York. They just finished the job (Bobby, Sil, Tony) after using Tony to get rid of Phil. Simple as it is.

Nah. Patsy got over it. There are a lot of suspects. A lot of "could have beens". Most logical is that Butch (NY) double crossed Tony.

Patsy got passed over twice on being a captain and his brother was whacked on order from Tony. So he probably did want to kill him.

Patsy was old school, he could have killed Tony any time, I just don’t see it. I think the members jacket has me thinking. The hit man wanted Sil, couldn’t care less about patsy

I always thought it was weird that they killed one twin but allowed the other one to live. like, how could they not expect him to want to avenge his brother. I feel like that adds a huge liability inside tony's crew. and althogh they keep an eye on patsy, junior could keep an eye on tonys crew trough patsy (they probably forbid patsy to visit junior anymore, and visiting junior would have been a death sentence for him) anyways, im guessing, patsy was smarter than his brother. his brother was probably constantly running his mouth about tony, while patsy kept his mouth shut. they even confirmed that he was talking s#it before pulling the trigger. that was the reason they asked him about tony before they killed him. and maybe they had tested patsy as well and he did pass the test by not running his mouth about tony. also, patsy did seem to be a dependable guy troughout the series, always in line, always did any tasked asked of him. and although he wasnt in the inner circle, he did seem to socialize well even though he was seen as an undesirable. which is more than you can say about chris. when facing the same scenario, chris inmediately made himself an outcast. also, chris was always bickering with everyone, while patsy never did other than with chris. the only 2 times patsy lashed out were very understandable. first, was when he was depressed about his brother, and second was when that anymal blundetto ( cant even say his name) made them all a target. (and before any negative nancy leaves a comment, I do know this is just a show, and i do know the addition of patsy, could have been a last minute thing. im just speculating based on the existing story line as is, and speculating about the posibilities based on the established lore, and doing it just for fun)

Patsy was *DEFINETLY* in on the plot to kill Tony He had the motivation. He had the opportunity. And during the last few episodes when Patsy and Paulie where in the bathroom where Paulie tells Patsy "It's all you" is reminiscent of how he urinated in Tony's pool after he chickened out from killing Tony. I thought all of them were knocked off. Would Patsy have all 3 of them knocked off? It makes sense they would be able to identify them up close. It's not like AJ would of been successful in retaliation.

No no...Patsy never had the makings of a varsity athlete. What happened was Butchie killed Tony (de-capitate) and Patsy and Paulie had knowledge and let it happen (and do business with whats left). Patsy never would have had the balls to kill a boss. Eventhough his brother...uhhh whatever happened there...

it was put in motion by Phil, Butchie lied about stopping it or perhaps it was too late to go back. Despite the fact that Phil was already dead, things were already set in motion. That is the far more likely situation. Patsy had a lot to gain from Tony, especially with their kids getting together. Sure there's the philly thing whatever happened there but this is a far fetched theory plain and simple.

Fix the errors in your video and I'd agree with you more.

For the millionth goddamn fucking time: the person (or persons) that killed Tony (IF he was killed) is whoever your little heart wants it to be. We will never have an answer to the ending. Only David Chase knows and he's probably quite content with never letting us know. Of course, some answers make more sense than others, but the fact remains: we will never know, and it's basically a CYOA for the viewer to interpret the answer.

I do think the theory that patsy became boss after he Teamed up with paulie and NY to kill tony is the correct one. First, patsy had all the reasons in the world to kill tony. he was also in a prime spot to become the boss. given that him and paulie were the only remaining active upper management ( silvio in a coma, bobby dead, carlo snitched, larry barese in jail, curto dead) and given that everyone knows that paulie is no real contender for the boss spot (even paulie knows) that means that he Patsy the highest ranking member. Albert barese would be the only real contender given that he is acting capo of the crew with the most soldiers, but he would have to jump over his capo's spot to do that. And albert always kept his distance from the rest of the family, so maybe he is just not that interested. also, patsy is now running the most profitable crew, which allows him to buy support and that crew, happens to be the crew with a direct line to NY so his position as boss would be well protected by having enough money/jobs to keep his subordinates happy and having NY to support him in case things get rough also, patsy and paulie seem to have a good relationship. patsy and paulie are never seen arguing even though paulie would argue with everyone. also, when paulie was in jail, chris was made acting capo in his crew, but patsy was the one really running the crew during that time he was the one that handled the negotiation that gave no show jobs to paulie and chris barely did anything during that time. (even silvio took notice) paulie probably knew that patsy was competent enough to run the family, and he also knew, that he himself was too incompetent to run it himself. paulie was constantly one of the lowest earners, he wasnt ambitious, and he was even happy when he gave away his gambling racket to chris because paulie could barely manage it as well. so having patsy be boss, frees paulie from a lot of responsabilities, keeps him away from the eye of the police and paulie was probably put back as underboss anyways. a position which he was happpy to be in before, even though he never had a shot at becoming boss.
