Everyone wonders "Whatever happened to the Russian?" Whatever happened to the car with the $5K in it is just as intriguing. Carmine's claim to the property in Newark was reasonable ("We share Zellman"); but the HUD scam? Ridiculous. Finally, love the foreshadowing for Paulie's upcoming struggles in the woods: He's in a ladies salon getting his nails done.

This was from the Pine Barren's episode (season 3, episode 11). I forgot this episode was pure comedy as only Paulie and Christopher could do. In screwing up this collection from Valery, we were entertained when the Russian escaped and left the two for dead in the forest.

One of the best ironies throughout the show with Paulie was after all of the headaches he caused the Soprano crew between them and NY, was when he FINALLY had his moment face to face with Carmine, the guy didn't even really know who he was. John played him like a fiddle.

My favorite thing about the sopranos is the way they show all these guys competing to be the most abusive, anti-social person around. If a person tries to act like they are on the same level then you immediately have to fight them until either you or they are dead.
