Remember one of the biggest goosebump moments of the 2008 Summer Olympics Opening Ceremony that was held at the Beijing National Stadium, also known as the Bird's Nest? It was the moment when 2,008 drummers played the bronze Fou drums and sang the quote from The Analects of Confucius written 2000 years ago: "Isn’t it delightful to have friends coming from afar?” to welcome friends from all over the world. Enjoy watching and tell us your favorite Olympic Memory in the comments.

A someone who used to do military drills, coordinating a few hundred people already required a ton of training. The fact that they've somehow managed to get over 2000 people to line up so perfectly in their movements is amazing. This takes incredible discipline and practice.

@@ent.8979 I once went to see an off Broadway performance of Stomp (which is a very rhythmically based performance. Look it up if you've never heard of it, it's a wild experience live.) And they tried to get the crowd to participate by doing a follow my lead clap and the poor audience couldn't even maintain a steady clap. They kept trying easier variations but the crowd just couldn't do even a simple 1-2--3-4 so they eventually just gave up and moved on to the next bit but it was so painful to experience. The performer looked dumbfounded. 🤣 I guess some people just don't have the rhythm. Lol
