A documentary about the beat music of the sixties and centres around The Swinging Blue Jeans. As the band gives it everything the crowd sort of wobble to the music, great stuff!

That performance by The Zephyrs from about 7 minutes on is absolutely, freaking outstanding!

Mick Jagger said he hated The Zephyrs version of 'I Can Tell' which resulted in the record failing to chart aswell as everything else The Zephyrs released

My folks were in Birmingham England from late '64 to mid 1965. My dad had a fellowship at the university there (in biochemistry) from the University of Washington (in Seattle). My mom studied Art (painting) while in the UK. They were a bit old for the British Beat Boom, but still I bet the saw some of these bands while they were in the UK. I have lots of old photos they took around the area (mostly Birmingham) from that time. I wasn't born until '67 (another wild year), so I almost missed the the 60s. I did become a Musician, so I like the footage of the musical gear. This footage is cool. A time long gone by. I wish I coulda remembered more about it! Keepa Rockin''! THANKS!

Do You still keep intouch with Terry or the others?
@Gregbassman18 жыл бұрын
Yes I occasionally talk to all of them but it's difficult to get together as Terry and Pete live in America and John is still in Liverpool and me in South Wales.

You should have some sort of reunion. Or better still, make a new album together. x Where do You live in South Wales?

Ray is writing out a check for £1300 in a music shop, that's equivalent to £33,000 in today's money, and the amount can be quite clearly shown. They were certainly making big money at this time, unfortunately by the end of 64 the hits were gone and they were playing ever smaller venues and package tours.
