I was wondering what possibly happened to Il-deung after dropping out? Does he also pursue magic like ah yi? Just want to hear others opinion.

I think that he's trapped in the cloth or the hat but can't escape because Ah-yi isn't aware of it so doesn't try bringing him out. Probably she thought that the trick actually teleports the person faraway. And the person returns on his own will. This is purely based on my thought processes and imagination. It depends on you, how you take a 16y/o's words.

May be the hat doesn't work as ah yi was not the magician ri eul was the magician so he disappeared himself by his own magic I literally want it's season 2 😭😭

I thinkkkkkkk if we’re being realisticcccc, there’s a trap hole in the stage floor, and it opened as she put the cloth over him. There’s probably a secret underground area and he hid there till the police stopped looking. He probably still lives there at the carnival park and that’s how he’s able to take her letters. He doesn’t wanna show himself to her cause in doing so, it will lose the power of believing he’s a real magician. BUTTTTTT IMO, I think his real magic powers doesn’t really work 100% of the time, but since the FL proved that she really believed in him, it fueled his confidence in himself and his magic powers were able to work and he teleported perhaps to the magic world (but it’s like happening in the same space and time as the real world) which is why he can receive her letters but she can’t see him…. Idk. That’s what I came up with tho as my ending. He did say something about him choosing that carnival park bcuz something something about Heaven. I have to go back and re watch that part. But maybe it was a clue that the carnival park holds a lot of magic energy from the kids back then(since most young kids would believe in magic) so to a magician, it’s like Heaven to him bcuz he can channel the kid’s energy to help fuel his magic. Orrrrrr he said something about that mail box too! Something like it leads to another world or home(I forgot the exact description). But maybe that’s how he’s able to get her letters. The mail box is like a time machine or a teleportation box between the magic world and the regular world. IDK!!!’ They just need to bring back the magician 😭😭😭 I miss him so much

He disappeared so you're not supposed to know where he went. As Ri Eul himself said in the 1st episode, if you know where the person went, then you can't say they disappeared.

Idk about where did he disappeared but in the last scene of webtoon an invitation card appeared in the mailbox..i think indicating the return of magician

if you remember the trap door, its at the exact same position as where he disappeared. so its likely he just used it and hid until the police was gone.

The girl became a magician making kids smile And you mentioned the invitation card at the end of the webtoon , that Could be the magician returning to help another person believe in magic because he has been in similar situations before like he mentioned before. That’s my take on it.

The story is not entirely based on romance… it emphasis more on every main characters emotional development, whom later surpass their inner fears of adulting and realist hardships. It’s romantic in the sense that love, strength, and hope all come together to give them peace and happiness with a touch of magic. Read the Manhwa it’s a beautiful story too. :)

he almost killed the girl because of her disrespect towards his magic and I believe that the parrot was who he considered to be his only family but since she knocked over the cage in which the parrot got stuck, that was mostly the last string of his that she plucked

That's not the trait of a psychopath. He may have been mentally and emotionally unstable but psychopath is quite different.
