I'm Native American (Cherokee) and I'm so very proud. I'm at peace when I hear true Native music. I'm 66 and my mother was one of the children that wasn't allowed to speak her native language. I'm very proud of our Chief for doing all that has and is still doing to keep and teach our children and grandchildren and great grandchildren. May you all be Blessed. Wado❤

A song made by Simon and Garfunkel is neither Native American (they are Jewish )and neither is these instruments Native American ( originally from Greece). And these men are not native Americans either they are from Ecuador.

I am not Native American, but for some reason, the music, dances, and instruments that are used by them stir my heart. As a child, I had always wanted to be part of the proud Native Americans. This is a beautiful rendition of this song.

Probably because they still play in the original tuning as apposed to the way music is recorded today in the West it was all changed to affect people differently because of how the frequency affects the body

I’m a massage therapist and nurse. The first time I heard Native American flute music while visiting in Sedona, AZ I got chills. I think I can relate, when I feel angry and want to be alone, when I can't talk to anyone and I want to be alone. This is one of my favorite songs and with this instrument, something about the pan flute that is calming, I'm a combat vet and I suffer from PTSD. It's not a cure but it helps calm the rage

It's not easy to blow these instruments. I had a panpipe flute, it requires technique, skills and stamina. My fullest and deepest respect and salute to them!

After studying clarinet for 2 years, I thought that learning pan flute shouldn't be too hard. I had tremendous difficulty even getting one note to sound right and doing that made me dizzy. I gave up after a few days of trying.

When I moved to Chicago in 1980, the first street musicians I saw on Michigan Avenue were 3 Equadorian pan flute players. To this day, I believe the pan flute to be one of the most mystical, most mesmerizing, sounds of any instrument.
