Going Behind The Sound on this Audi RS3 which is with us to upgrade from the stock, non-amplified system to an Audison set up with Front Tweeters and Woofers, rear co-axial speakers and a boot mounted subwoofer and dual-amplifier set up.

I would like to ask if the stock speaker cabling is okay to run the aftermarket system such as this? I have upgraded to a similar setup in my Golf Cabriolet MK6 but utilised the existing wiring/cabling.

Ideally not, always best to run new cables

Added amplifier draws power from the battery. Does it have any impact on the life of battery and/ or does it have impact on other functions of the car that are dependent on the battery power? Like an air suspension

No it does, we take these tings into account when designing a system

Looks good, I’ve got a 2015 sq5 with bang and olufsen, I had a merc glc amg premium plus before that with burmister speakers which in my opinion were far superior , any ideas of upgrade for sq5😎😎😎

Yeah, we normally use Audison equipment in them. Best to come see us so we can advise on spec and options

I have a 2018 S3 with stock stereo set-up and really don't like the quality. Would this set-up be appropriate for my car or would I have needed the upgraded B&O system in order to do so?
