Күн бұрынThe spawn is on in Southeast Texas. I caught my first bass on a dropshot, but the video corrupted. So today I am trying for my first on video. I had a thought, I'm like these spawning bass. I am preoccupied with so many things. Trying to protect things in this life, that I don't bite what Jesus is trying to give me. I don't feed because I'm too preoccupied with the things attacking my life. I found that the constant attacks on me and my family are a huge distraction I have to learn to ignore and focus on who is really feeding me.

Find a good Bible teaching church, if they are just telling stories that’s not bible teaching. If that’s too much, too quick, my church family has an online ministry with recorded sermons and Bible studies. Live on Sundays, we stream the service to KZfaq, Facebook or on the site. Hey. Just found your channel via reccomendations from @fishingwithfaithoutdoors. Congrats on your first dropshot bass. It's definitely my #1 confidence technique whether fron the bank or in my kayak. One thing you can do to have the lure a bit higher in the water column from the bank is to make your leader a bit longer. I usually have my leader up to 24 inches long when I'm casting it from the bank.

This may be my favorite summer finesse technique. My private pond uses something like the aqua shade.

I’ve never had much luck in the summer. But it does seem to irritate spawning bass.

I need to put in some more work with a drop shot. Maybe I’ll have a designated rod for it lol. I added another to my collection… maybe I’ll do drop shot finesse, moving bait, bottom, and top water. Sounds good in my head at least lol. Good adventure out there Mike. Always glad to see you fishing.

Thank you buddy. Make sure it’s an ultralight setup. Preferably with braid to leader connection. I’m using 10# braid with 10# flouro leader. The bites can be extremely light. If they have it for too long you can gut hook them. That’s why I miss so many I guess. I try to set the hook before they gulp it.

Personally I think the weightless t-rig is better, but for tiny plastics I guess you can’t beat them.

Just drag it real slow. Rod tip up from the bank.

@@savedbygraceoutdoors heck yeah. I have buddy that loves it. I’ve caught a few fish it before just don’t use it much. I did use it for pan fish. Now that’s fun!

Yep, the bluegill were biting the crap out of it, but my hook was too big.
