I LOVE THIS CARTOON

I used to love Beetlejuice growing up!!! I watched it all the time as a kid and used to get so zoned into it. I wanted to be Lydia soo badly haha

Lydia did change to more upbeat in the end though. She also had friends at school in the end.

I say if they wanted to make a beetlejuice 2 they should find a way to mix both of his personalities (from the film and the cartoon) I think it could work.

Oh wow, we loooved the cartoon!! We've been so tempted to pick up the entire series but are so nervous that it hasn't held up and would rather keep it fond in our memories. Regardless, this was a great trip down memory lane and a great comparison of coming off of the movie. Still would have enjoyed that Hawaiian sequel. lol

I was born in 2000 but I watched it a lot on KZfaq around 2009-10. Not on any streaming services unfortunately. I liked the clips I saw on KZfaq as a kid

nostalgia overhaul! I remember this and the real Ghostbusters. I also remember some time later The mask and ace ventura animated series that were extremely good but never put on streaming services. Makes me so angry. I'll have to pick up the beetlejuice series DVDs hopefully for Christmas

Between The Real Ghostbusters and Ahhh!!!! Real Monsters this will and always be one's of my favorites of the late '80s to the early '90s either watching it on ABC then FOX Then Nick and later on Cartoon Network in the mid '90s

I always wanted a Beetlejuice/Freakazoid crossover.

I thought the Beetlejuice cartoon series was one of the funniest I've ever seen... The jokes, puns and gags were hilarious and the series had fantastic voice acting as well as music and sound effects. My all-time favorite sound effect was how they indicated something smelling absolutely AWFUL (usually Beetlejuice himself) by use of a foghorn (which, by the way was the same foghorn used for the doorbell of the original 1960s Addams Family TV series)!

even this old 89s ish audio video always scared the shit out of me we had a tv on top of an furnace i called the furnace mr trumpet and the part at exactly 5:46 on the video i would pick up the satilites audio through the pipe the smoke comes out and id wake up in the morning before we even had satilite and it would say are you lonely depressed confused and i would hear it all the way in springfeild everywhere i went and finaly got used to it i think that house was possessed im a libre have adhd so i know i wasnt crazy and now i have bipolor i think because of this show and all the fact that kids with adhd can hear higher frequenceys

I think in the animated series that betelgeuse and lydia are married and not just friends, that when he married her in the movie he trapped her with him to hell or the underworld and that's why she's wearing a red dress in the series just as she did when they got married in the movie....js...its a thought

Haha I can't believe! My mom bought me WB Beetlejuice VHS cassette back in like 1989 in Yugoslavia, somewhere in Belgrade, watched like zillion times. Still got it! Always wondered were more episodes sold and if so what episodes, and now I know, entire first season. Wow, who would have though! Naturally didn't saw Beetlejuice after the war when Cartoon Network started airing it again somewhere at the end of 90's and early 2000's...

i actually dont like old 80s 35mm film because it scares me becuse the film had lack of treble some commercial did it too like the burger king one i hated that commercial and stayed the hell away but the action figure one i liked id probobally like the dvds amazon released cuz they probabally were remasterd from the film but the audio has more treble i cant watch old film movies on my newer reciever unless its an old yamaha it had a 35mm spectical film setting that helps clean up the audio on those films from the begginng of 35mm life to whatever era they fixed the audio issue i think it was like exactly 90 91 when they were working on fixing most of em i had with it growing up as a kid our surround sound when i was a kid didnt have it when we got one it would scare me like it did just now on my new one unless my stepdad didnt know about it im obseesd with audio and video i actually helped set up it with him when i was a kid to this day but i think it has to do something with being born in exactly 1990
