I recently had the cable break free of the spool and lost a good snook on a 4 inch. Wasn't thrilled considering what these baits cost. BUT they do work, I prefer the 9 inch and 4 inch.

First off, love your vids and Man your a smart fisherman, but only got 1/2 way in to this SpoolTek video and had to stop to tell you 2 things.... 1st - My good friend The "Mad Snooker" told me that its not the SpoolTek catches more fish, but that, by the lure sliding a way from the fish, the snook can't head shake it out. Flair Hawks have all that weight right on there mouth and they throw the lure. So you will "catch" more because you lose less. 2nd - I see your knot is tight on the eye, so that is affecting the way the lure swims. Please use a loop knot. Hey bro, I'm just trying to be helpful on something that's new to you. Your great. See-ya

Oh on the loop knot... when you feed the line back though the loop do a double rap a-round the line before returning in. It will keep from slips. And man, if you have another person aboard...fine, lib the fish. But your self......... bring a net. Your GOOD, but One guy can't do it all.
