Sleeping with Sirens is an American post-hardcore band from Orlando. The band was formed in 2009 by members of For All We Know, Broadway, and Paddock Park.
Their third album Feel debuted at No. 3 on the US Billboard 200, and a fourth album entitled Madness was released in March 2015. The group is known primarily for the versatility of vocalist Kellin Quinn's tenor leggiero nvocal range.

Why do i feel like he's only in it for the money and doesn't actually care about anything he's doing or the kids he's claiming to be trying to help? And that he's just doing exactly what Bo Burnham says Justin bieber, 1d, and other pop stars do (make money off kids insecurities)? I mean, he always gives off the vibe that he doesn't care like in interview. Even seeing him live, it all seems like a job to him. Even right here, he answers the questions like its an essay or a test or like its his job. Idk how to say what I'm trying to say perfectly but i hope its somehow coming across.. because look, everyone that's done these interviews get into really detailed answers for 5-7 minutes but kellin's is only 2 minutes (i know that's not a big deal and doesnt actually prove anything but still) and not only that but he always says things like "the lyrics and everything i put into the music meant something." he says "I" or "me" where he should be saying "the band." and it's not just here, it's in all interviews and shit. please don't take this as complete hate or me trying to be a dick. but i really just wished people would understand this and try and defend him with reasonable answers because i used to love sleeping with sirens, but just getting these feelings and ideas (no matter how much i tried to tell myself i'm just imagining it) made me hate them and kellin. so seriously, i dont want to hate him so if you have something to say about this thats legit and not just "haha shut up their musics dope and you're just a fag" i actually would like to hear it sorry this was long

I'm surprised more people didn't comment on this. When I saw him standing on a stage at Warped Tour while he wasn't performing, he looked like he didn't really want to be there. Not only does it seem like he doesn't care about the actual music, it seems like the fans don't either. Rather than saying how great of a show the band played, everyone just talks about how they love Kellin and his face and how awesome he is.

Ok, just because someone is a pop star doesn't mean they don't care. Now that that's out of the way, I think kellin maybe just isn't as passionate about music anymore but he keeps making it because he cares too much to abandon the fans. I think he wants to do something else now, especially after losing a valueable member of the band and having a daughter. Idk that's just my opinion.

Michael Coccia I think it honestly depends, I do understand what you're saying and for the most part he seems like that. As far as lyrics go, the lead singers usually own the rights to the actual music themselves and write the words themselves so it'd make sense if he was talking about it in that aspect. Most likely he wasn't though. Just saying.

For some reason I feel like Kellin has something going on with his parents or something because he seemed kind of sad... then again I'm probably wrong. I tend to over analize things. Anyway his band is great. I love them. I hope they continues to make music and feel proud for themselves and all they've accomplished.
