Im sick of my straps ripping on my work bag, ill be saving for one of these. 316ss for the hardware... Smells like quality

Guess I have the 1.5 version (purchased in 2017). Looks like the newer one, but the handle is the old style. Also, no pouch on the back of mine and the straps look nothing like either. Regardless, I love the bag! I have it in walnut. It always gets compliments. Know this - it's BIG! I got it for an EDC. Really could/should have gone smaller for that, but I still carry it daily. Works GREAT when I travel and fly.

Meh! I'm sold. ...again! Though I'll need some kind of special to make up for taxes, since we're both in TX!

And yet it is still just as desirable and handsome as ever.

However, there is one problem: none of their bags and backpacks can be locked to protect what's inside. In today's world, thieves are everywhere, and they won't hesitate to snatch valuables from tourist bags. The best defense against such incidents is to have a bag or backpack that can be locked at all times. Unfortunately, this feature is not available in any of Saddleback Leather's products.

It's a beautiful backpack but the straps are WAY to short.

These flat shoulder pads seem superior (and prettier) to the new tube design (because they slide down). (patiently waiting for a new carbon run of this backpack) The saddleback design philosophy is (to make) the best. The redesign is a better version of the backpack, all the comments insinuating ulterior motives are a bunch of nonsense.

The older one is the bette design. The new one is just cheeper to build.

The girlie handle might make it lighter but it’s a definite no for me. That one detail changes everything.

Cutting back material to increase profit. Cheap labor in 3rd world countries. High priced Definitely not worth it!

I love the video, but I'm a little concerned/confused about the Jewish carpenter kissing a child in the photo behind you. You have a right to enjoy whatever excites you but that is pretty creepy. Either way have a great day.
