Smaller bet on flop with Ks9s @4:57. If you're going to range bet (which you're not, you're going to be checking back some hands), you want to bet smaller. KQo @6:28. Fold pre. Barring that, flop is fine. Turn mix between check and bet small. River check. 98s @8:02. Another spot to fold pre-flop. As far as postflop. Hard to say since Villain should not have bets here, but basically agree with your line post. Turn is prob close between raise small or call since we have showdown equity now with a pair. Also if a river comes a 6, we can get a lot of money from opponent. QQ @11:19 . No. 3-bet bigger. $90-100. Ax has equity vs you. Kx has equity vs you. The only hand, that maybe I'd get on board with on this, is AA, and I'd still raise bigger than 55$. Also multi-way UTG is going to fold 66-99 postflop where if it was Heads-up, they should call it 100% of the time on this board. Also, multi-way, you're going to fold out UTG a lot even if they have a pair (which is bad), so we have to rely on Btn to call with his sticky wide range preflop that has missed this board a lot.

KQo should probably be a pure 3 bet bluff, at least in 6 max, depending on configuration, possibly even a 4 bet bluff.

KK 3 bet 60 is good. QQ needs to be bigger though atleast 90. Maybe 105 since you’re OOP. Pot should also be 195 on the QQ to the flop. Not 175

@@panicpoker You called this one out, but you absolutely have to raise those 10s from the BB. You have to remember that you always have a choice following your current action. If things get sketchy, you can get out of the way. You missed on some value there. On the A10 hand, I would have just bet the flop, but a check is fine. After he bets though, just call. You raised massive. He can’t hold on with much after that. Can you name any weak hands you might do this with? No way you’re bluffing into this board much, and Qx off of diamonds might be the only other holding he can give you outside of 2-pair or better since you raised UTG. I can hear that you’re trying to make an exploitative play here, but I think it’s the wrong spot. KQo from the button should really be a 3-bet or fold (It’s really a fold at 100 BBs but I don’t mind getting mixxy with it every now and then depending on the player). If you 3-bet here, you likely could have made him fold his KQ with continued aggression since you’re repping AK, AAs, and KKs with the 3-bet and avoid the chop. Your raise with 98s is fine btw. No reason to be upset at that one. The raise to $80 with KKs is too big. May have resulted in the same, but this should be $65 max. You called this out too (which you do often, and I wonder why you’re not making the correct play on the felt). The raise with QQs on the other hand was far too small. My natural raise would be $105 in this spot, but I can get on board with $80-90 given the stack sizes. Now you got lucky on this one. It obviously worked out, but we’re not hear to play singular hands correctly in a vacuum. We have to make winning plays for the long term. As played, the shove is fine. Could bet small and shove turn, but we’re splitting hairs. The QQs hand saved your session, but you have to get more value in other spots of your session to be winning overall. Keep at it though man. I’ll be watching 👍🏾

Why do not play at South Pointe anymore? I found them to have very soft games and good action.
@panicpoker

I will get back to South Point again sometime soon. The reason I’ve been playing more at Bellagio is MGM gives you a 90 day window of approval to film before you have to go back through the application process. No guarantees that you will get approved again so I wanted to make sure I took full advantage of the 90 day approval window I had. Don’t worry, a $2/3 session at South Point is in the works 😃

Man! Five limps to you with 1010? Pound that shit! I’d have raised to like $25-$30 there. Either way it was hard for them to have a piece of that flop anyways. I think you should go find a new room to play for a bit. Go try Red rock or The golden nugget or somewhere you don’t go often. That’s usually a good antidote. I also would suggest you play the Bellagio 2/5. It’s such a better game.

are you surviving in Dubai? Isn't that where all the storms are?
@panicpoker
@panicpoker 4 ай бұрын
Yes, and the plane on was on flew right into the storm upon landing. It was a rough one. We ended up not being able to land and diverted to a neighboring country (Oman) for an emergency landing. Once we got to Oman, the landing was a piece of cake but then they left us on the plane for SEVEN HOURS just sitting on the tarmac. It was horrible. Anyway, we were stuck in Oman for two and half days, got into Dubai yesterday and everything here is a mess. Tons of road closures, delays, flooding in the hotels. It hasn’t been a great experience to say the least and I’m really looking forward to getting back home.

ATcc: No reason to raise so "big." Villain only has 88 behind. I'd raise small or even just call. After the call, there would be 34 in the pot and 83 behind. You can then x-call a half pot bet on the turn and get it in on the river if no more 🔷 come. If villain does not have an A or 🔷, you probably weren't getting it all OOP no matter what you do. AKhh: If this flop is better for villain's range, why are you betting so large (2/3 pot) with a medium strength hand? KQo: Vs UTG raise from button in these stakes, I think a call is ok here. A raise would be a "bluff," and I don't think that's necessary at these stakes. 98hh: I agree that a call is better on the turn with the 4-straight.
@panicpoker
@panicpoker 4 ай бұрын
AKhh I meant to bet 1/2 pot and miscalculated during play. Mistake on my part. ATcc: I’ve been experimenting with larger overbet sizes on boards where it’s likely that weak/passive players won’t fold. If he has an A or any broadway ♦️ I think he calls a big bet here. Maybe not 10x though. Probably somewhere between 6-8x would have been better sizing.

Well, to be fair other tight players are also talking about me and labeling me as tight. Player classification is part of the game and just because I play tight doesn’t mean I want a bunch of other players at my table using the same style.
