The FIA World Endurance Championship is the world’s premier international sportscar championship, contested over seven rounds across North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. With multiple cars across three categories (Hypercar, LMP2 and LMGTE Am) all on track at the same time, the WEC is a sports car extravaganza that offers action, overtakes, excitement and entertainment for fans worldwide.

The last time Villeneuve was fast was in 1997. He got destroyed by teammates more often than not after 97. He old and slow.

Appreciate the content, but saying Porsche has a MGU at the front axle is a basic mistake. All LMDh cars have the hybrid system on the rear axle.

LMDh cars can choose between 4 options, LMH cars can use any chassis they want to.

@@mwdrumThey don't have to be handmade, as you mentioned Ferrari chose Dallara for thei chassis, but they have more freedoms in LMH.

@@mwdrum Ferrari isn't using a Dallara chassis, it's an LMH that's been built from the ground up just like the Toyota. The Porsche and Cadillac are the LMDh prototypes on the field, they're built on Multimatic and Dallara chassis respectively. There's two different types of cars in Hypercar. LMH and LMDh. LMH is built from the ground up with significantly more freedom. LMDh is built on a chassis from one of four manufacturers with a spec hybrid system and stricter regulations. The Ferrari, Toyota, Peugeot, Glickenhaus, and Vanwall are LMH. Porsche and Cadillac are LMDh.

I am confused! There are two different series? Same categorie? The colors of class is irritating me. There is at one hand 12H sebring. Imsa. Hyper cars class has black colors (number sticker) on the other hand WEC has 1000 Miles Sebring, red class colors. Urghh!! So, its two seperated races? Correct? As I know Porsche runs in both. Do they just replace # stickers from red to black, or is any change on car neccessary also?

They can use the same cars both in "Hypercar" (WEC) and "GTP" (IMSA). The cars won't be exactly the same due to BoP but they can enter both championships. The Porsche team has different cars for IMSA and WEC. They have 4 cars now, 2 of the race in WEC and 2 in IMSA.
