Dicken Bettinger, Ed.D., received his doctorate in counseling psychology and has worked during his career as a licensed clinical psychologist and psychological educator. Dicken’s entire career has focused on psychological well-being. In 1987 he began his studies with Sydney Banks, who shared a profound new understanding of the human mind called the Three Principles. This new paradigm reveals the unity between our psychological nature and our spiritual nature. He enjoys leading group seminars in the US and Europe. Dicken is the co-author of a book on the Three Principles called Coming Home: Uncovering the Foundations of Psychological Well-being.
Dicken enjoys public service work and has worked with refugees from South and Central America. He was an integral part of the Tibetan Resettlement Project in Vermont. Dicken has been married for 52 years and loves teaching people about what it takes to create healthy, thriving relationships. He has two adult children and plans his day around when he can be with his four grandchildren. He enjoys photography, hiking, canoeing, traveling, and his mixed doodle dog.

Dicken, I just love you! That's the only thing that comes to the mind. I love to watch and hear everything you say, because you just embody the thing that you are pointing towards. Just like Sydney Banks. Every muscle, every tissue of your face glow up and, the Truth reveals itself! I just can't describe it. I just feel great! Really really great! While listening to you. While watching you talk. I have had some really wonderful insights very recently, like flashes, that catch me offguard. When I listen to you, there is this Big Smile on ny face, that sometimes my cheeks start to ache! I just love this feeling. I know this is coming from somewhere that is far beyond the boundaries of the pea intellect. I have this great urge to meet you in person someday. Since i live in India, I don't know when that would be possible. But one thing I must tell you, you are Love personified. No exaggeration. Thank you and I love you, again.

Thank you for your outpouring of kindness! I am touching by your generosity of spirit. When you look within and find that unconditional love, you have an inexhaustibly source of love to give unconditionally to others!💖

Wait a minute…Sydney Banks is better because he’s from Scotland and has a bigger audience. You have to consider all metrics before you express an opinion.

I love listening to you. I found you through Lily. I’ve really struggled with how to change my negative thoughts. I’ve been stuck in a loop for almost 2 months now. You give me hope!

No, hope is just a promising evil. That’s why when Pandora opened the mythical box, all evils came out but one remained hidden at the bottom…hope. Hope projects you into the future and away from the present. Hope is an empty promise that takes away your power. Hope is morphine for the desperate souls. I hope you reconsider your position.

A practising Buddhist shared much with me, and he said if you find material that means much to you, re-read it time and time again. It can never lose its value.

I don’t know about this guy… He owns a mixed doodle dog, he dyes his mustache but bleaches his beard. He keeps laughing at his own words… In short, this is a Freak Show…
