He shouldn't be remembered for Watergate, he wasn't a bad president previous presidents and presidents after Nixon were just as bad ,he was just unfortunate to be the first president to be investigated by the media , The media knew about JFK and his woman but they didn't publish it. Nixon was good man I think after his wife Pat passed away it broke Nixon's heart . May the good lord bless your soul .

I visited in September 2023 and enjoyed learning so much that there was much more to the man than Watergate. That his house was there was a wonderful surprise, and a fascinating to visit. I would end up seeing three other libraries on that trip, which included Reagan (spectacular), LBJ (enlightening) and Bush 43 (does its job).

Henry Kissinger is a great diplomat. Ford , Carter , Reagan , Bush , Clinton I think that is the most presidents alive at one time . Now there is Carter , bush 2 , Clinton , Obama and Trump .

Now hiden biden going down as the worse president in history. Clinton sold all our nuclear secrets to China. Obama sent 42 billion dollars to Iran(a country that screems death to America), bush one lied and raised taxes, bush 2 used 9-11 to get his patriot act passed and take away more of our liberties. Ford was a bore. They are all sneaky liars.

Barbara Wawa still has to take her digs at Nixon. Referring to his “disgrace” at his funeral is the lowest of the low. Wawa seems to have a real hang up with Nixon, even in death she can’t help herself. If only some of her decisions were revealed for all to see. Wawa never has been the target she has only been the targeter. She seems to think she is above the fray. I have much respect for Nixon, for his ups and downs. I don’t define Nixon by an event but holistically. He was strong, peaceful and honorable. Barbara Wawa could only hope to have the class he has left as a legacy.

I still have this on VHS when I recorded the coverage from C-SPAN. It was a wonderful service. I thought President Clinton’s eulogy was excellent (I’m not a big fan of his). Bob Dole’s eulogy was very touching, especially when he finished. The thing I remember most are the C-SPAN callers prior to and after the service, who were OVERWHELMINGLY favorable to RN, offering prayers and condolences to the Nixon family and friends as well.
