Was listening to this song, again. I do so quite often. However, this time my mind was not drawn to the dead. My heart goes out to those thousands of guys who came home and had to re-build their life. Some were actually physically wounded ...but ALL were mentally and emotionally wounded in one way or other. You can't live through something like that without being scarred.

I ask each and everyone of you that as you get ready for Memorial Day on Monday that you not forget that this isn't a three day holiday weekend but rather a somber time to take time out to Remember, Honor and Pay Tribute and Respect to those that have served, sacrificed and unselfishly gave their all for us and our Country. From all wars past and present. At 3PM Mon The National Moment of Remembrance takes place. Wherever you may be at 3 PM please observe a moment of silence in honor of our Heroes. If driving, you are asked to turn your headlights on. It's the least we can do for those that have chosen to give their all so that we may continue to live in freedom. And by all means if you know of any Gold Star Families.. Please thank them for their sacrifices as well. Please feel free to share this with your friends... Thanks~ Frances

when they built the wall , some ask is this all we get some wall in the ground? it is simple but it brings so much emotion. I belive being so stark you see how many names are there . I went a few years ago it is very moving.

Korea vet. I made it home but i've always wondered who gave there life for me. I know some one did. For the Nam vets who risk having your name there, I hope you are well. Dan

I remember every night hearing on the News about the horrible count of Military lost. Like it was a score from a game. To Us it was not a game , but a fear Our Dad's would be in that count. Yes They are more then names They were Our Family.
