I live in Compton, Ca and stinging nettle grows abundantly here. It's picked out of my garden constantly. I only knew to make a tea with it, nice to see other options. We also have lots of wild dill. Unbelievable what u can find in such a poorly viewed area. Love you Almazan Kitchen!!

Coconut Blood is very popular in Asian countries, especially common in Asian sweet desserts. Commonly called Palm Sugar, its a hard and short stubby cylindrical shaped block of solidified brownish sugar from the coconut tree. It must be heated up and melted into a thick golden syrupy form in order to be used. In Malaysia, its called Gula Melaka.

i dont know if you will be reading this almazan but one tip i have for you when it comes to steak is to get your pan hotter, otherwise you allow the slow cooking to overheat the inside of the steak. if you cook on a higher heat, for 2,5-3 minutes on each side it will give better results

@xopoc79
@xopoc79 5 жыл бұрын

Howling Wolf you're right I believe. Because when he slices the meat at the end the insides definitely look more like pork than they do beef.

Pretty sure it is beef not pork. Don't think you would get the same medium rare (or medium well) with pork or even want to eat it not fully cooked. I would guess it is a cheaper cut of beef cut in the shape of filet.
