Whenever the Steelers play an NFC opponent in Heinz Field, I have strong confidence in the Stillers. This game brings back memories and I remember watching it very well. I am very happy to leave out Adrian Peterson trucking Willie Gay.

2009 to me was Ben's coming out as an elite QB. Starting with the SB43 drive and into 2009 Ben put the doubters away and put up big numbers. Too bad the defense melted down mid season. Had Polamalu and Aaron Smith stayed healthy, this was a 13-14 win team with the way Ben was on fire for most of the season

The offense scored 13 measly points this game........and they were loaded.............. Ben had magical moments, but never grew as a complete QB>

@@sammmy4495 Gotta credit that Vikings defense. There was a reason they were undefeated coming in and wouldn't lose again until around week 13 or so at 11-1 it took a team effort to beat them.

This offense got shut down by the Titans, Bears, Bengals and Browns. The 2009 Steelers were talented but were a mixed bag overall.

I remember watching that play when fox took it to the house, and before the snap you could hear brett farve call an audible "black fox"....moments later he would soon regret that play call.

I remember seeing Greg Lloyd sack Brett Favre, which seems like so long ago, and then seeing James Harrison sack him in this video, which seemed like yesterday.

Of the accolades of both Ben, and Favre. This was not in any stretch a good example. Both were tough as nails, and played that kind of 'back yard' Football to a T. Both also have some crazy stats that are cool in one respect, and damn awefull in others. Both will be eventually in Canton.JMHO

at the end of the game Harrison gets the sack and the vikings lineman is picking a fight with the one man you dont want to fight.... unless this was the year Brock Lesnar tried out for the Vikings then maybe that guy could stand up to Harrison. I know also Brock played on defense. But still Harrison vs Brock would have been fun

It's always good to see the defense add points but if you take away those 2 touchdowns, you probably don't have the W. The offense needed to contribute more in that game.

Every time I see Brett Favre, I wanna smack the dumb cheese hat off a Packers fan's head... Even when the man is wearing a Vikings uniform lol. Also, how you can get Fa-R-ve from Fa-V-re is beyond me XD

@@ItzYinzburgh Yep, I always loved the NFL on NBC too. Dick Enberg was the man. These days they've got it all messed up. I know for a fact I saw two AFC teams play each other on FOX last year for some reason.
