This rug had been used by animals. It stank to high heaven and was severely matted and dirty.
It took some cleaning and brushing but i think its good enough to be used again.

I just love the care and time you take with each rug. Your technique is far superior to so many others. I also agree with Kris Leibold I would love to see the back story of the rug and where it goes after you clean them. Also the care of your instruments. I find that fascinating and also how you got involved in rug cleaning.

My 7yr old and I watch your videos most nights before bed. The other day, he surprised me by singing a theme song he made up for Dirt Reynolds. That is a very lovely rug after being cleaned, wow! And...I just want to say thank you for your videos. I've been flitting around aimlessly looking for things to keep my mind occupied for the last few days. My dad passed away unexpectedly a few days ago and...having the distraction from straying thoughts has helped.

Oh man! I have fallen madly for this rug! At first, I was not too sure about the whole "Eye of Ra" look.... I mean it felt like a giant eye 👁️. At least, that's how it looked to me at the moment...... Then, I could see sharp angles and soft curves!! At first I thought it was two tone...then the utter delight that washed over me as it subtly revealed it's third characteristic!! Now I WANT that area rug!

Just started watching not too long ago and wanted to give a small bit of advice. Have you thought of wearing a mask for the initial rinse and shampoo? If you get a really bad rug and hit some mold spores it could end up in the air and make you really sick (Or worse in some cases...) After its wet im assuming its fine although dont quote me on that.
