Captain Jack became a radio hit at WMMR in Philadelphia. I was 13 at the time and heard it live during the Sigma Sound concert. The Sigma live broadcast in part was a re-recording of Cold Spring Harbor which had some damn good songs on it. 😮

Captain Jack first broke on Philadelphia FM radio, 93.3 WMMR when DJ Ed Sciaky introduced it into the rotation.

This would make a good biopic if done right. Sad he got ripped off and had trust issues afterwards.
