Wanted to do a video chronologically telling the story of Ellie and Joel throughout season 1- how their relationship grew from annoyance to love and devotion. Its such a beautiful narrative. Two lost and hurting people who are actually a lot alike, finding healing in each other. They are both beautiful characters who make a perfect team. it's not time that heals people, its people who heal our wounds, and the love we give and receive from them.

I know what you mean. Whenever a sad scene sticks with me and I can't stop thinking about it, I create another happy ending in my head and I focus only on that, tricking my mind and rewriting the story any way I want. Try it

The part when Joel was injured and lying down and he told Ellie to go back to Tommy's was so heart breaking. When she put the jacket over him and turned to go, Joel had a tear coming down his eye. You can tell he wants her to go back to Tommy's but he was also scared of being left alone. When she came back to him, you can see that he was relieved to have her back at his side..😢😢

Seriously, TV series are sooo much better than movies nowadays. This is where actors get time to shine in their craft! Pedro will clean up at all the TV awards for sure- Emmy's, Golden Globes, SAG awards, Critic's Choice, etc.

I really love Joel and Ellie! The part where Joel was injured and Ellie did everything she could to stitch him up and go hunting for food by herself was touching too because of how much she cares about Joel!

I have NEVER enjoyed any movie or tv show having to do with zombies, but this story is truly amazing. And the chemistry between these two actors is palpable. What a wonderful and moving story. I'm LOVIN IT.

The "it's ok baby girl" always gets me. Not just for the obvious reason of that's what he said to Sarah. But also, he knew something terrible happened to her and she really needed to hear those words. He didn't ask what or pry, he just gave her as much comfort that he could possibly provide.

When joel was there for her after what happened with david, you can tell that he knows what happened even though he wasnt there. The look on his face when she turns around fighting and screaming is just so heartbreaking. He knows what happened and he couldnt protect her from it. 😢

Exactly!! In that moment I feel like he broke and vowed to himself to NEVER let anything bad happen to her again, which is why he HAD to save her from the fireflies in the end

Omg. I didn't plan to cry today but when it comes to the part with Joels daughter Sarah and Ellies lost (mother/friend) my heart literally broked apart. I cried my soul out😢 Few minutes later: Okay, let's be real. I cried my fucking soul out
