This is definitely my favorite ending. The NCR isn't perfect, but it gives the Wasteland and its settlements room to grow and expand unhindered by raiders and tyrants like Caesar.

I loved this quest as with the wild wasteland perk. You hear the ncr on the radio screaming! They're coming out of the walls, man! They're coming outta the damn walls." and "Game Over, Man! GAME OVER!" from my favourite movie 1986 aliens ^~^

Many things I wanna say on this one: This, right here, is my number one favorite conflict in Fallout history. Paladin assistance from the BOS, NCR kickin ass, Ganon and the Remnants doubling the effort of the Western end of the dam, The Khans, and to top it all, The Boomers of Vault 34 bombing the Legion. I loved the NCR battle of Hoover dam! It’s honestly one of my favorite endings! But one thing that always bugged me was when an ncr trooper/ranger got in my line of fire.

The vast number of endings and the level of intricacy within each ending shows why this game is so great. Obsidian were miracle workers with this game considering the time frame they had.

OK, just like the last two endings, here’s my thoughts The republic although heavily flawed in some places, is a very… American way of living They believe in fair justice, and fight for what they want and believe, and are considered to be the good guys However… The main representation of the republic is the military which is led by a few… Radical leaders, but with some people with level heads on them, and a semi corrupt and top-heavy leader ship back in California, With this, it won’t surprise me if 50, 70, maybe 100 years from now, the republic falls because of corruption, and other ways, that empires fall Although, I do like that most of the warring factions can at least gain some peace I don’t know how the final ending will be like, but for the most part this seems to be the best ending, I won’t lock in my answer now, but this seems to be a pretty good ending

I know there are a lot of mixed opinions on the NCR but something about have every small faction (Brotherhood of Steel, Great Khans, Enclave, Boomers, Followers of the Apocalypse medics) side by side fighting with the NCR is a sight to behold. The shear force of their united advance is just glorious.

This ending is probably one of the best endings available. I know NCR isn't perfect,but it is a hell of a lot better that House (although he may not be all that bad) or Legion

You should do a Video on Comparing Nee Vegas and Van Buren. If you didn’t know, which you probably did, most of the people working on Van Buren worked on New Vegas, and Added in stuff from Van Buren, like Joshua Graham, Hoover Dam, and Caesars Legion.

Three things I wish could have happened in NV. 1. Convincing House to spare the Brotherhood, by having them sign a non-aggression pact with him. In exchange, when NCR withdraws, they get Helios One back. (Only if you disarm the ARCHIMEDES weapon and if McNamara is in charge). 2. Convincing House to spare the Kings, if they decided to have a truce with NCR. 3. Convincing the Great Khans to fight alongside you (not in a suicide mission either) for NCR/House/Yes Man.

I love how a LOT of these Legionaries are all carrying guns. Something we are told they aren't supposed to be doing.

The main reason I enjoy this game the most is the variety of endings. Not just the main endings but the multiple ending within the main endings involving individuals and factions. I miss that in Fallout 4.

The NCR ending s nice and all. But I think it comes with some really big things that make me think it might not be the best for the NCR and the Mojave. The Taxes and the settlers are driving out some of the people who have lived there all their lives. The win assures that the questionable behavior of the NCR s awarded and not brought to question and leaders involved keep their jobs. I think the NCR is the second best ending of the game to me. House is to full of himself. Caesar is a jerk going on a power trip crushing everyone who stands in the way if his envisioned "utopia." And the NCR is an invasive force trying to expand their holdings at the cost of the Mojave. Let's hope Yes man and the Courier can do better.

The Goodsprings voice is the Imperial General Tullius from Skyrim, right? And I LOVE the fact that Hanlon is Kris Kristofferson.

I've done only ONE NCR playthrough to date, just to see what would happen. At the time, I hadn't even known of the option to talk the Followers into supporting the NCR, Mr. House, or an independent Vegas. I only discovered it during one of my Yes Man games and have always made it a point to speak with Dr. Farkas right before the final battle ever since.

Over all the NCR is the best ending for the people I mean yes yes IR does have it's problems but it's stable a does bring schools it does bring medicine in there is ways to actually keep all the factions allowed except for the legion I mean at least the NCR is willing to negotiate and work with other factions and over all this does give the people some stability and some Think of a normal life yes not perfect but at the end of the day is a real government with a real army in a real stable chance for the world actually heal and the only other faction that actually has a chance to help the world hill is the brotherhood in the West

I remember destroying cotton wood cove by killing the legion in it and filling with radiation, killing Cesar with Boone and Nuking their fort. I was surprised the game didn’t end there the legate was bloodthirsty apparently

Arcade & Enclave Remnants, NCR Trooper & Rangers, Great Khans, Brotherhood of Steel versus Caesar's Legion? That sounds like a massacre against the Legion.

Remeber, this game is 8 years old. And its debatable if bethesda will ever do better than this game in the Fallout franchise.

Here's a thing, even if you side with House and defeat the Legion, the NCR will quickly grow enough to simply surround the Strip and Hoover Dam. At which point the NCR can simply place a 10,000% tax on any and all foodstuffs and they could do nothing to stop it, farming in Outer Vegas notwithstanding. Add to that a handful of Rangers with .50 cal AM rifles to "accidentally" whittle down House's _finite_ supply of Securitrons (blame the Khans or Fiends) and all House's dreams come to a crashing halt in maybe a decade, all due to the ill-will generated by absurdly high prices for water and power. If he negotiated a position where the Mohave gets integrated into the NCR, (after cleaning up their act) he could then take his place among the Brahmin Barons and Trading Companies and _maybe_ bring on the tech rennaisance and even live to see mankind head for the stars, all the while _increasing_ his flow of revenue even _after_ taxes due to increased traffic from a safer and more prosperous NCR. Instead he sets himself up to be quietly killed and declared a myth by being a... well, you know. Apparently, as well as being literally unable to see past the end of his nose due to being in a tube, he metaphorically can't either.

I'm for some reason extremely emotional when it comes to Fallout. Every time I just hear that slide show and music either after DLC or the full game, I can't help but burst into tears. I don't know what it is that makes me so extremely emotional about this game, but I'm glad I am. I love this series.

When you go into caesars storyline they say " We only use bladed weapons and hand to hand combat." I clear my throat and point to the legion men using Machine guns. An I say " Hand to Hand combat and blades only my ass."

The NCR will never stop their expansionism unless they get surrounded by nations and tribes that can stop them. And even then i doubt that they will stop trying. I don´t know why, but the NCR, although they should be capable of living of their own territories, seems to never be sated. The bear is better in using the land it feasts upon then the bull... But two heads need more food

Almost a shame how well a fully-prepped NCR ending works out. I’d like for there to have been a way to get that level of cohesion with the Independent Ending, but it seems like even if you do your best the Courier just ends up right where House was - benevolent despot, anarchic land. The fact that you get do things like secure the Brotherhood and Followers alliances without them going rogue is really what tips me in reluctant favor for the NCR.

This ending brings together all the major factions of Fallout 1 and Fallout 2 - Khans, Followers, NCR, Brotherhood and Enclave to fight side by side against the Legion. The only way they could have made it more inclusive is to have a means to get Marcus, Keene and the Jacobstown supermutants to join in too (but I guess you could have Lily as a companion for the fight). .
